The apartment is ideally located for all touristy activities. The underground lines U3/U6 and U4/U5 are available, Tramline 27 runs through Schwabing and down to the Glockenbach-Quarter. The Museum-bus line 100 (taking you to 12 different museums) stops right in front of the house.
You are renting a room in a shared apartment. One room is constantly occupied by a resident, the other big room is being rented out.
The room is very bright and very large. It is split into a sleeping area with a double bed and a living room which has two sofa beds. Free Wifi is included.
The large and fully equipped kitchen can be used to its full extend. The bathroom is small, clean and will be shared. There is the opportunity to use the communal washing machine.
Within the students quarter located between the Technical University and the Ludwig-Maximilian-University, there are many opportunities to spend an exciting evening. Several clubs and dancing bars are within walking distance, restaurants, bistros, little munching places and wine and cocktail bars are to be found all around and provide reasonable prices.
There is no smoking inside the apartment, please!
We live in a very safe area in the city. We don't use the bolt on the inside of the door, as that means, someone else who has a key is not able to enter the apartment. If you want to lock the door behind you, while you're inside, that is perfectly fine, but please don't throw the bolt and lock us out. Thanks.
Other than that, just treat us the way you like to be treated and show some kindness and respect towards the place we live in :o) Thanks!
Anne was a wonderful host. The place was very comfortable and we felt at home in Munich. The apartment is located within walking distance from most attractions in the center of town and we loved having breakfast at the little cafe at the corner. Although we did not meet Anne, everything was arranged perfectly and we had everything we needed. Suffice it to say that we felt at home and would definitely stay there on our next trip to Munich.
It was a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere...Thanks Anne
My friend and I really enjoyed staying at Anne's place! First off, her communication was great, timely, and friendly. Secondly she was extremely flexible with my odd arrival times and made it super easy to get settled in after a long travel day!
The actual place is in a great location and there's many walkable places to eat and grab drinks. Her apartment is quiet and clean which made it easy to get a good nights sleep! Thanks Anne!
About the Host, Anne
I'm an experienced traveller and have stayed with people I knew or who knew people I knew all over the world. I used to love staying in hostels for making new friends and meeting new people. But I feel that slowly I am getting too old for the "hostel experience" and the party crowds. So I am now starting my new adventures on this page by letting my room to fellow travellers, while I'm away on holiday with airbnb or staying with my friends elsewhere.
