The space
IMPORTANT - THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL AIRBNB

Buckhorn Springs is a private 124-acre Resort & Retreat Center with hiking trails, forests, creeks, and a large meadow. We rent select units (Houses & Cabins) from the property here between-group events and retreats. This space, and the rules around it, are set up to support those looking to retreat, recluse, and meditate in the quiet and peaceful sanctuary of this historic nature reserve. For this reason, we have a 3-night minimum and do not allow instant bookings, but we will respond to your inquiry within 24 hours or less. We are about 25 minutes from the closest grocery/shopping and only have an AT&T cell signal (however, we do have reliable internet). If this sounds like it is for you, please continue reading this listing to learn about the unit, the property, and it's unique history.

CABIN 1

Cabin 1 is a two bedroom cabin with full kitchen and bathroom, located on our lawn between the garden and Emigrant Creek. With a large window in the kitchen, the space is filled with natural light and views overlooking the creek. The cabin sits among the shade of a grove of oak trees.

Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and the cabin can comfortably accommodate up to four people.

This cabin holds a special historical designation by Jackson County. While the interior has been beautifully renovated for your comfort, the exterior has been restored and maintained to its appearance from the 1800s when it was originally built as a hunting lodge.

ABOUT BUCKHORN SPRINGS RESORT & RETREAT CENTER:

A 124-acre inholding of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument in the Ashland Mountains in Ashland OR. An enchanting place where one feels connected to the land beginning with Indigenous People who gathered on this ground for peace and healing centuries ago.

Buckhorn Springs provides a unique environment nestled in its own small valley with a creek, old oaks, ponderosa pines, tall aromatic cedars, and open meadows. Ideal for small or large group gatherings, including seminars, workshops, yoga retreats, business meetings/off-sites, religious retreats, reunions, weddings, and personal retreats.

After being cared for nearly 30 years by a wonderful family, Buckhorn Springs was taken over by new management in the summer of 2021. As of 2022, with extensive renovations and improvements completed, the next phase of this sacred land’s evolution is unfolding. We look forward to continuing and building upon the legacy of the healing lands and waters of Buckhorn Springs and welcoming back guests, old and new, to enjoy this beautiful southern Oregon oasis.

Please visit our website for more information about the resort and its unique history.
