Situated on the edge of Downtown Boston, with the flair of Asian Micro dwellings. This apartment is on the teeny tiny mini side, but hey if you're visiting the city, who wants to be stuck at home all the time.
Conveniently located, it is central to all the major T
(metro, train) station. So close to everything , it's better just to
walk! 2 blocks to the Theater , Leather, Shopping, and
Seaport Districts. Boston's Chinatown, a constantly
lively part of the city - There's a 24hr diner, plenty of restaurants closing
near 3am and several bars and lounges surrounding the area. There
are "hubway" or bike rentals outside the apartment for your leisurely traveling needs. You may rent my HubCard Key, that means unlimited cycling, for $10 for use for the whole day.
The beds available are in the living room, upstairs in the loft and in the bedroom. The availability may vary by date of your stay. I occupy the loft, but may be out of town those dates, or the living room could be the only room open. They are all on the smaller ends and are about 8x10 with the smallest being a 7x8. Please bear in mind that the unit is in a rustic older building in Chinatown, so there are no doorman. It is a very secured building with mixed commercial/residential occupancy. It is a simple living space, with basic essentials. Depending on what is available during your stay, the rooms might vary. There are free wifi, cable, and wii for hulu and netflix in the living room. The living room has a 75" ceiling so it feels very enclosed. There is a loft on top which I currently occupy. The ceiling on the loft bedroom is only 62" so WATCH YOUR HEAD!!
During your stay, we will make it a factor to be home or ready at all time to let you in. You will be given a key to access the elevator and up onto our floor. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO NOT LOSE THIS KEY, AT ALL COST! If you do lose it, we will not be able to refund your security deposit.
There's a coin-op washer and dryer in the lower level of the building, but it's a lot easier to get a rental and go to another laundromat if you really need laundry done during your stay. The apartment is not kid friendly and can only accommodate ONE guests. If you have a car for your travel there are loads of garages near the building and is very close to the major freeway/highway.
Location is prime and can get you to anywhere during your visit in no time! Whether you're here for a conference, on work trips, or just being a tourist. Experience living like a local, and stay in one of the most unique district Beantown has to offer.
I had a great stay at Bi's place. Her roommate, Marco, was really helpful and friendly, letting me drop off my bags early, and making sure I had everything I needed. The apartment is nice and clean, and the location was really convenient (right in China town, 15 minutes from Copley place where I was attending a conference). The location is fairly noisy (from the street below), but I brought earplugs and slept really well.
As it turned out, Bi was not in town when I was in Boston, so the only person in the apartment ended up being her roommate Marco. He was still very nice and helpful, though.
The room I slept in was very comfortable, and comes with a TV that apparently has Netflix (though I didn't use it)--though it ended up being a bit bright since the blinds don't cover the entire windows. The traffic outside is also sometimes loud.
You will need the owners' help to get into and out of the apartment, and even to use the elevator in the apartment building. This isn't a huge problem, as they're willing to be very available (Marco mentioned that his work is just about 10 or so minutes away), but it's something to keep in mind.
Another thing to keep in mind is that they sometimes invite other people over--the day I left Marco invited a number of his coworkers over for lunch. They were all very nice people, of course, and I enjoyed meeting them.
In closing, though, I'd actually be prepared to recommend this place for the location alone--staying in Chinatown is really, really awesome!
The apartment was micro as advertised but accommodations were big enough for one to be comfortable in a private room with futon. The early outside traffic and construction noises might disturb some who are used to quiet. The location was wonderful. I walked everywhere and those who enjoy Asian food can find a variety of places to eat right in the (website hidden), the host, and her roommate were pleasant and helpful.
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Bi was a great host. She responds to request very quick and was flexible about check-in / check-out time. The Micro-apartment is at a perfect location steps away from restaurants and transportation. It was very clean and well decorated. We had great conversations and Bi even gave me a quick tour of the area.
Would recommend to anyone visiting.
Bi's place was a cozy apartment in Chinatown. I spent most of my time at the MIT campus, but she was good about suggesting some spots to visit in the city. When I return to Boston I will certainly stay at her place again.
Bi was very accommodating, quick with a recommendation for good spots in the area and the location is fantastic (walking to south station a big plus). Made my quick trip to Boston about as easy as possible.
Bi was an excellent host. Super accommodating and friendly. Would absolutely recommend her as a host. Sleeping conditions were great, and being located right near south station provided instant access to a lot of areas I was interested in. Overall great stay
Bi's place was conveniently located with easy access to most parts of the (website hidden) was a lovely host, easy to get along with and she had great knowledge of her city.
Bi is a very nice girl. She even prepared everything for me!
Her apartment is warm and fragrant!
