Check In
  • A very nice and different experience! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Great to see this side of Hong Kong. Unforgettable.

  • Our stay on Boat Moshka was a really interesting addition to our trip. It was great to see another more laid back side of Hong Kong and we really enjoyed catching the San Pan's around the harbour, taking in the views. If you are planning on staying here I would definitely suggest booking the larger room for more privacy and your own bathroom.

    March 2014
  • It was quite an experience to stay on a boat in the harbour. Beautiful views, comfortable bed! If you want to get away from some of the busier parts of Hong Kong, its a good place.

  • We are a family of five who had been travelling for several weeks before our final destination of Hong Kong. Saral met with our family the first night and is a gracious host. Siti took very good care of us throughout our stay with cooked breakfast every morning and some good local tips. The accommodation provided us with everything we needed including a place to escape the fast pace of Hong Kong for a drink and relax on the back deck watching the life of Aberdeen marina. The sampan transfers were easy with public transport efficiently close by. We would be delighted to stay with Saral and Siti again. Many thanks for the perfect ending to a families dream holiday experiencing the world.

    February 2014
  • We had a great stay on Saral's boat in Aberdeen Harbour. Saral was a great help and made everything very easy.
Watch out for the "Lunch Sampans" I had noodle soup but Siti says the duck and rice is better.

  • We had very nice experience of staying on Moksha. It's one of the best ways of discovering HK. Saral and Siti are very friendly and helped a lot by giving advices about places to visit and etc.
Boat is very cozy and charming. The room was small but it was fine for us, because we spent evenings on the main deck, reading or chatting with other guests. Also i should mention free wi-fi that was working well during our stay (usually in HK hotels wi-fi is charged as extra facility wich may be annoying and even costly).
Boat location is very nice because in the evening after rush of the city you can relax in calm atmosphere.
Apple and Shiva (cats) were very friendly and never caused any trouble.
One more important moment that we've been to HK in winter, so weather was very nice and there wasn't any rain at all. Probably, experience of stying on the boat in rainy seasons might be different.

  • A good place to stay a bit hard to find

    December 2013
  • Our stay with Saral and Siti on Moksha was fantastic. It gave a sense of living HongKong, as we were part of the Aberdeen community and it was a relaxing environment, with lots of options for the tourist to explore from that base. Thankyou to our hosts!

  • Saral and Siti are wonderfull hosts. They are kind and sweet and give good advices. The boat is really beautiful and it is fun to take a little Sampan to come aboard. The bus 75 terminus is just in front of the little habour so it is really easy to come and go to Central.
You can go like a blind man (not too blind because you will fall in the water) !!
    Thanks Saral and Siti!!!

  • Fantastic place to stay for our group of a bunch of NZ yachties. Size, value and location were all great for the 18 days we stayed. Bus depot and taxis are at jetty and Sanpans were plentiful and Sanpans could also take us directly to Aberdeen. We booked the whole boat so rooms varied in size. I had the room on top which was very comfortable compared with the TV room that one of our party bunked in. Siti cooked us breakfast everyday and did some washing for us too. Instructions provided made it easy to find. Relaxing on the back deck with the view of the harbour lights was the perfect end to each day to get away from the bustle of Hong Kong. Thanks for sharing your home with us we had a brilliant trip and stay in Hong Kong.

We live on the boat with our helper Siti and two funny cat Shiva and Apple. Saral is from India and Siti is from Indonesia and we enjoy to share living on the boat experience with the guest comes all around the world. We enjoy the life on the boat and the peaceful life style make us feel great, if you want to try something different in Hong Kong, Moksha will be your good choice. Our property agent said to us while we were looking to rent a property, "Careful, You can't live on Land after living on a boat". I thought being an agent he was trying to push a story but realized soon enough that he was right. We finally bought the boat to live on it forever. Hong Kong is a great city but with very limited space, it makes it difficult to live if you come from open places. Having a 6 feet by 2 feet balcony in Hong-Kong means throwing millions more and a sea view is something only thousands of dollar/night can buy you. You can check out the 5 rooms on the boats from the link below,
