The Space

70m2 in a central location in the trendy Vesterbro part of Copenhagen. Separate bedroom, bath, washingmachine and dryer, stove and oven, free wifi, full cable package with international news channels.
The apartment is located near the central station, city square, the popular lakes and Frederiksberg Allé and Frederiksberg gardens. Also, the Zoo and Tivoli Gardens are nearby.

Vesterbro is by far the most popular part of the city with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Several Michelin awarded restaurants are in the neighborhood, but more affordable places are certainly represented as well. Vesterbro is known for its bars, cafés and diversity in population. Also, the meat packing district is only 5mins away.
The central location makes trips to City Square only a 5min stroll away.
Various festivals ranging from Jazz to Electronic takes place during the year, and I will make sure to inform you about events taking place during your stay.

Bus 6A goes right to the door from Copenhagen Central Station. Metro and trains are nearby as well.

The neighborhood is the so called "golden triangle" between the busy Vesterbrogade and the fashionable Frederiksberg allé. An unique, quiet place where you can retire from the hectic centre of the city, You are also welcome to use the closed backyard with grill and tables.

The price includes electricity, water, heat, wifi and use of washer and dryer.

  • What a perfect place to spend a few days in Copenhagen. It was the perfect home base. We were walking distance from everything we did from Tivoli gardens to eating at great restaurants like Formel B. Simon's place was really nice. Simon was the perfect host and kept in contact with us to make sure we were all set and he gives his opinion of the places he thinks visitors would enjoy. He was always quick to respond to any questions we had about the area. Even though on the day we arrived Simon was out of town, he made sure that someone was available to greet us, let us in and answer any questions we have.

If you come to Copenhagen and need a place to stay, I highly recommend you consider Simon's apartment. You won't regret it.

  • Great apartment in a great location! Simon is a friendly guy and easy to get in touch with. Rented it for a week and had an excellent stay throughout.

The only minor drawback was the lack of curtains in the bedroom (in regards to both darkness and privacy). This is however easily fixed as there are hooks over the window that you can hang a towel from if you are so inclined. Or you can use the eyemask provided and sleep like a liberal, free-spirited danish exhibitionist.

Also, check out Vinstue 90 just around the block. Best place in town.

  • This is a special apartment where one can really feel at home while being on vacation. Understated refinement is everywhere in the choices of furnishings, finishings, kitchen implements etc. Simon is super easy and uncomplicated to deal with and helpful if you need anything.

  • Simon was waiting for us when we arrived - his place is exactly as described - nice design touches - funky neighbourhood - rented bikes down the street. Simon's restaurant recommendations were good.

  • Third time staying in Simons apartment. Can't fault it. Vesterbro is a very good area to stay in if you are visiting for a short period- a walk away from the centre but also full of exciting things to do and see in your doorstep.

  • We only had 3 days to see Copenhagen, Simon ´s flat is the perfect location for that, as you can reach all the interesting locations in less than 15mn by bike. The appartment is spacious, cosy, even better than on the pics provided, perfect place for lovers. Furthermore Simon is a great host, very convenient and can give you good tips to explore this city. I recommend this flat +++

  • Excellent. More than you need is provided for your stay- information about the city, bikes, home comforts (dvd's, coffee machine, books etc). We hope to stay again.

  • We felt at home in Simon's Vesterbro nest. The flat is decorated with great taste (mostly Danish design - no need to say!) and was very clean. Simon was also very accommodating despite our late check-in. I am happy to recommend Simon to all my Parisian friends and hope I will come back in the summer time.

  • Simons place is beautifully furnished, in a great location and very clean and comfortable. We had a great time and would love to return soon.
Simon was lovely and helpful and is a great host I have already recommended Simons place to friends.

  • I stayed in Simon's apartment for one week, as I was working during the week and had friends visiting and staying in the apartment over the weekend.

Simon met me at the apartment on arrival (my flight landed fairly late 10pm) and gave me a tour of the building and amenities.

Simon also left me with a long document highlighting all the key facts you would want to know about the area.

The area itself is great, some mornings I walked from the apartment to the City Centre (weather permitting) and we were also able to walk to the meatpacking district of Vesterbro where some great bars and restaurants are located.

The apartment is a nice size for a small group and has great facilities - very comfortable sofa , well equipped kitchen and entertainment equipment (music speakers).

I would highlight the property to anyone that wants to visit Copenhagen and be close enough to the centre without actually staying there whilst also having the opportunity to be amongst one of CPH's up and coming areas.
