Other Things to Note
1. If your profile is empty or you don't provide a little about yourself and your trip in your request, I won't approve your request until you give a little background. Thanks!
2. The street we live on is about 50% college kids, so it can get loud Thursday-Saturday evening, especially around midnight. Keep that in mind!..
3. We don't normally do one night stays, but if you need to stay only one night, let me know and we can work out something.
4. We just adopted a small (16 pound) Shih Tzu, Jumbo. She will never be in your room, but will be in common area and our room. (Please ask us about MAJOR dog walking discounts for certain days)

Although I didn't get to meet Pinaki during my stay he was still a fantastic host, very easy to communicate with and quick to reply to emails and very useful in his suggestions of things to do. The place is very nice and comfortable and in a good location, everything in old Charleston was in walking distance.
The location was perfect and very charming. Great neighborhood tucked in the historic downtown area with many major restaurant and shopping attractions very close. Pinaki was a great host. Very friendly and helpful. He provided detailed notes on where to go and what to do. A great experience and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Did not get a chance to meet Pinaki and Hayleigh but they were wonderful hosts nevertheless. They provided lots of information about the neighborhood and the home, checked in prior to my arrival and were available by phone or text if anything came up (which it didn't). Geat neighborhood, convenient to CoC and King Street. A little noise at night from the college students coming and going, but otherwise a quiet and lovely neighborhood. Cosy, clean and comfortable with lots of amenities and a beautiful patio space. HIGHLY recommended.
I spent three nights in Charleston for a conference, and staying at Pinaki's was better than any hotel experience. He was a friendly and helpful host, sent me local tips and logistical info before I arrived, and was responsive to all my questions. The room is exactly as described, very private and charming, with its own little balcony. I didn't have any issues with noise from the neighboring college students since it was post-graduation in June. And I felt totally comfortable walking everywhere. Three of the best meals I had were within a couple blocks: Hominy Grill, Xiao Bao Bun, Two Boroughs Larder. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the option!
Pinaki, though we also never got to meet, was a wonderful host. Provided me with all the info I needed prior to my stay, and was happy to answer any of my questions. The house was beautiful and completely clean. Perfect for 2 people to stay, with a gorgeous backyard. Also in an ideal location- very quick walk to King Street/downtown Charleston. Would highly recommend staying here!
About the Host, Pinaki
Hey, I'm a 31 year old guy who works as a travelling technology consultant, living with my wife, Hayleigh. I love to travel and try out new foods. My hobbies include sports (watching and playing) and figuring out travel logistics for me and my wife!
Best beer selection in Charleston, great people watching.
The central square of Charleston. Beautiful and busy.
Whole-in-the wall soul-seafood type joint. As local as you'll get.. carryover when the neighborhood wasn't as gentrified. Great fish!
Most off-the-wall menu in Charleston, we love their noodle bowl and breakfast sandwiches.
If you're looking for less southern, more modern american, there's not a better spot than this in the city. Only place I've been more than twice.
Little Comedy Joint-- great prices on shows and beers. Really funny guys.
Best breakfast bar-none in Charleston. Waits are crazy on weekends after 10am, though.
Our neighborhood bar. Tell them Pinaki sent you. Lots of wines and beer. Like a rustic living room (tiny).
