About this listing
Cal Perelló is a renaissance Manor house built in 1530 with just three bedrooms with bath for guests, specially devoted to people with an interest in horses and riding.
We are situaded in central Catalonia, an hour away from Barcelona, mediterranian beaches and Andorra and the Pyrenees, in a small 700 meters high medieval village of 20 inhabitants. We speak english, french and spanish. Breakfast is included in the price of the rooms. On weekends we also offer dinner, arranged in advance, but on weekdays we offer full board. Our kitchen supplies organic products that come from our own garden, pantry and farm. Besides fruits and vegetables, wine, olive oil, eggs, honey and milk are produced at home.
We also offer two large shared rooms, with library and wireless internet access, but no television. The outdoor gardens are open to guests, which can also visit the farm, the stables and the garden. Pets are not accepted. Smoking is not allowed in rooms. In summer, you will find an outdoor pool with bar service just fifteen minutes walking.
Thanks to our family connection with the Comalats wineries, we also offer guided tours of the vine yards and wine tasting excursions
Public and private transportation from Barcelona and nearby airports is available.
We had a really lovely time with David - he is a very considerate host and really made a big difference to our time in his guest house. We were only there for 4 days but the breakfasts and dinners were delicious, the trek two of us went on, on his horses, was lovely and his knowledge of the area, things to do and where different festivals were taking place all added to a really enjoyable stay. The house itself is a lovely old stone building but with everything we needed. It is located in a tiny village in a very rural area but we were surprised at how beautiful it is around there and we managed to get a day in the mountains and another near the seaside at Tarragona as well! David's organic farm was really interesting to see and we learnt a lot about what he does there.
