We live on a remote peninsula and we have free parking outside our house.
Breacan Cottage was exactly as described, rustic, quaint and very comfortable. Geraldine is exuberant and warm and she and Noel added to the experience with their amusing (website hidden). Breakfast was delicious and generous and vegetarian options provided. The location was, as described on the website, 'remote', and while very picturesque and quite close to the charming village of Kinvara was a good 30 minutes drive from Galway City. As we had planned to spend some time there exploring the evening music scene we should have checked the location before booking as it was further than we would have liked after a night out. That said we worked it out and it has proved a memorable experience in our tour of Ireland.
Geraldine & Noel were a very warm, friendly and extremely accommodating people. A lovely couple! Couldn't do enough for us! Their house is situated in the mist idealic place and close to Kinvara a lovely little village. Would certainly recommend staying here to get the total Irish experience
Geraldine was great! Guided us to an amazing dinner...surely caught just yards off the pier. You cannot ask for a more picturesque location. Absolutely beautiful. The accommodations were perfect and we enjoyed a wonderful, home-cooked breakfast.
Our visit to Ireland was a real treat, what a magical place. Our stay with Geraldine and Noel certainly added to that experience. They were welcoming, helpful, and greeted us with warmth and a lot of humor! The location is perfect for day trips to all the stunning surroundings. We traveled with our children and found the cottage to be an easy place to relax at the end of a long day.
Very welcoming and a beautiful property. Me and my partner felt very comfortable in the room provided. It was clean, spacious and the room we were in wasn't in the pics, but in my opinion was the nicest room in the property.
The irish breakfast was delicious and anything you needed, Geraldine and her partner Noel were happy to make sure that was done.
Thank you for your hospitality!
Everything was great, absolutely beautiful location, a very comfortable room with a bathroom, and a delicious breakfast with vegetarian option. Geraldine and her husband gave us some tips about the neighbourhood too. We only stayed one night but will definitely recommend to our friends.
Geraldine and her husband were welcoming, and the cottage was lovely and very well kept. We appreciated the peace and quiet along with the quaint town of Kinvara only a 15 minute drive away. Breakfast was delicious, and our hosts were more than happy to make accommodations to our breakfasts. Thank you to our hosts for this restful and beautiful getaway!
