The space

Breacan Cottage B&B is a beautiful rustic cottage with panoramic sea views overlooking Galway Bay in the West of Ireland. We are located just outside the picturesque fishing village of Kinvara, Co Galway en-route of the Wild Atlantic Way. We are central to the Burren, Ailwee Caves, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Galway City, and Connemara.
Rooms are ensuite and we have Free Wireless Internet Access.
A delicious Continental breakfast is included and is served each morning between 7.30 and 10 A.M.
We are approxamately 10 minutes drive from Kinvara village where there are many great restaurants and pubs with Live Traditional Music. We also provide a Laundry service for a small fee and there is free parking onsite. We are located on a remote peninsula so you will "NEED A CAR" to get here.

Our B&B is called Breacan Cottage. Our address is Parkmore, Doorus, Kinvara, Co Galway.
You drive through the village towards the Burren on the N67 for about 4 km and turn right at a sign called Knockgearra. You will see my B&B signs on route. We are located on the same road as Doorus Youth Hostel. Just drive to the end of that road and we are the last house on the left overlooking the sea.
We have free secure parking.

We really enjoyed our stay with Geraldine and Noel; they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They made us feel like family, without the family discount ;-) Beautiful cottage by the sea, with a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a lovely seaside, waterfront retreat.

This is a beautiful B&B and Geraldine is an amazing host! We found the location easily and loved how close it was to quaint Kinvara. Our group enjoyed the lovely rooms and delicious breakfast to start our day before heading to the Cliffs of Moher. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to get off the beaten path and relax!

This B & B is in a beautiful setting! A little remote to get to but worth it. The town of Kinvara is quaint with just enough restaurants and music for a complete Ireland experience without the crazy crowds. Definitely returning in the future !

Despite my daughter throwing up on towels and me backing up accidentally over a shrub in the front yard, Geraldine and Noel were great hosts. Beautiful, quiet place and breakfast each morning was good too. I would recommend staying if in the area of Galway or Cliffs of Moher.

We loved staying here and felt it was exactly as described in the marketing. Very accommodating and the hosts made us feel very comfortable and at home. Sunrises could be seen from our room. We relaxed on the lawn overlooking the water activity on the bay. Very secluded, which is what we were looking for. Minutes into town for dining and shopping.

Hi Everyone,
I studied Fine Art in Gmit (Galway Mayo Institute of Technology) and I have lived in Kinvara for 30 years.
I am married to Noel who is a farmer. Our cottage is located on
the seafront near the picturesque fishing village of Kinvara.
We own a small farm and when my husband is not farming he is
helping me with the Bed and Breakfast business.
We have a very Arty style house which we love and hope you will also.
