Bright & cosy apt. in Central Adam

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Buiten Dommersstraat, Amsterdam, North Holland 1013, Netherlands

A little home away from home. Cosy, quiet, bright and peaceful. The location is one of the best you can find in Amsterdam. Enjoy!

The Space

This cosy 1 bedroom apartment is a perfect place to stay. You will have the entire apartment for yourself and can accommodate 2 people. There is a kitchen, TV, bathroom and quick WIFI.

It is a quiet place to stay, only a few meters away from the Haarlemmerstreet (best shoppingstreet of the Netherlands 2012); The central station is less than 10 minutes walking and the Noordermarkt just around the corner. The neighbourhood has loads of shops, good restaurants, cinema and many bars. Also the Westerpark is on walking distance for a good walk or lunch/diner/drinks.

It is a comfortable apartment where you will feel at home.

There is a good transportation system to the city centre / main attractions but you can also walk because there is a lot to see.

On your arrival I can give you some insiders tips for a perfect stay in Amsterdam.

Best regards,
Rosa

  • I've stayed in Rosa's apartment for a week and my trip experience couldn't be better: the apartment was superclean and cute and is located in my favorite neighborhood in Amsterdam, Jordaan, which is in walking distance of the central station, city centre and cosy local shopping streets.

Rosa is also a great and responsive host, she even gave me her personal tips for the best restaurants in the neighborhood, really handy :)!

Don't hesitate to stay here, highly recommended!

  • Rosa met us at her cute apartment which was clean and just perfect. We walked to her place from the strain station which was no problem since it is about a 15 minute walk. Her place is right off a lovely street with many shops to eat, drink and even do laundry. Thanks so much Rosa. This was our first experience with Airbnb and it was great.

  • The apartment was terrific--the location is ideal for exploring the city and a great place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing. Rosa was kind and responsive and made me feel very much at home. She left fresh towels and bed linens, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The living/dining space was very pleasant; it gets nice light at breakfast and the two very fat birds roosting on the terrace railing provided comic relief.

I highly recommend this apartment, it felt like home and made me feel like a local on my first visit to Amsterdam. I would definitely stay there again. Everything was clean, bright, comfortable, and quiet, yet only steps away from a bustling street with everything from on trend fashions to vintage, Indonesian cuisine to oven-baked pizza, a quaint letterpress shop to wonderful housewares and decorating shops.

Just minutes away across the bridge and you're in the heart of Noordmarket which is bustling on Saturday with a food market and stalls selling antiques and clothing; the same location features a nice antiques market on Monday. The Jordaan neighborhood is great for exploring and finding quirky shops, cafes, and restaurants. Continue strolling along the charming canals that are all around and check out the beautiful homes, shops, and people until you reach the Nine Streets--shopping heaven. The Anne Frank house is also in easy walking distance.

The Spui brings another feel altogether with really amazing bookstores and a charming Begijnhof grassy square tucked away behind a wooden door.

We even walked to the museums--you can pretty much go anywhere on foot if you enjoy walking. Amsterdam is a wonderful and charming city, small enough to explore on foot but big enough that you never run out of fun things to do and see.

  • This apt is located in one of the nicest areas of Amsterdam: in the city centre, around the corner of the Haarlemmerstraat (best shopping street in Amsterdam), and near really nice restaurants et cetera. You get the full Amsterdam experience in this place. A narrow staircase leads you to the front door (don't pull the rope, you have to go down again to close the door). It is a small but bright and fully equiped apt and the layout is perfect. We only stayed one night and were away for most of the time. But the bed was really comfortable and the apt was clean. Rosa was very welcoming and responded quickly to my messages. Overall, a really great experience!

  • Really nice apartment in my favourite part of the city which is in walking distance of Jordaan, Central Station, the centre and of course Haarlemerstraat. This is probably one of the best locations that you could find.

Rosa was a great host and her apartment was nicely kept and spacious enough for a couple. I'd definitely stay here again.
