The space
Note the layout of the house: large, open floor plan. Upstairs: two bedrooms divided by a half bath with large luxurious soaking tub. Bedroom one has a king bed. Bedroom two has a queen bed. Downstairs is dorm style sleeping with three single beds. Downstairs also has a full bathroom with shower plus an additional outdoor shower.

Kualoli is for those wanting to escape the crowds and tourist hustle while immersing themselves in a vibrant, peaceful and tranquil retreat. A spacious 3800 sq. ft. lofted home beckons with open arms, offering a seamless blend of indoor-outdoor living with harmony and natural beauty.

Step into an expansive open floor plan adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows, inviting ample sunlight and breathtaking views of the starlit sky and meticulously landscaped grounds.

Indulge in culinary delights in our chef's kitchen, complete with modern amenities and a large dining table crafted from locally sourced rainbow eucalyptus, comfortably seating ten.

Sleep soundly in a our 'livable piece of art', accommodating up to six guests with ease. Upstairs, two generously sized bedrooms boast queen and king beds, complemented by a lavish half bath featuring a luxurious soaking bathtub. Downstairs, there are several lounge areas with comfortable couches plus three extra beds—two single and one full. Downstairs bathroom is a beautiful stone in-lay with shower, toilet, sink plus an invigorating outdoor shower.

Step outside onto the covered deck, accessible from the downstairs dining area, where panoramic vistas of the property unfold before you. Lounge in the hammock, stretch out on yoga mats amidst nature's embrace, or challenge friends to a lively game of ping-pong in the garage.

Our water supply, sourced from a meticulously designed catchment system, guarantees pristine, filtered water straight from the tap. Water is safe for cooking, bathing and drinking. Sauna: On property, located next to the house is a wood-burning, six person sauna plus two soaking tubs.

Weddings & Events: For an added fee we allow small intimate weddings. Should you prefer a bigger wedding we offer full property rental, accommodating overnight guests up to 12. Please inquire for more information.

Long term rentals please inquire. We do allow for month long stays.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire house and property. I reside at the front half of the property, tending to the land and assisting with any guest needs. The property's layout is perfectly designed to offer both privacy and comfort for everyone

Other things to note
We are in the jungle. The elements are active and alive. It's not uncommon to see geckos, mongoose, wild pigs, mosquitos, flies, ants, and other friendly earthly creatures. It's all part of the eco-system while adding charm and delight. We do provide internet. We do recommend you download any important documents, TV, or music as jungle living requires adaptability.

Neighborhood highlights

We sit right in the middle of the majestic & historic red road. Across from the ocean we are less than 2 miles from the famous Kehena Black Sand Beach & just 3 miles from the natural Pokoiki hot springs. At night you can hear the coqui frogs & ocean waves. Birds a plenty with all their magic music. Down the road is Uncle Roberts. Weekly live music, smoothie shack and a small bodega. Saturdays is the farmers market. Sundays, half a mile up the road, at Seaview Lawn, is a big drum circle and many food & clothing vendors set up shop.
