The road was built in the year 312: the year in which Appius Claudius, after whom the road was named, was censor of Rome. Its plan was surprisingly "modern": it set aside the smaller town centers (provided with special junctions) and headed straight to the destination.

  • Nice and clean...close to supermarket, bars and restaurants.
Very good value apartment to use as a base for visit Rome, but if you want to enjoy the atmosfere of being in center and walk around neighbourhood should rent on more historics places ( but will pay more for sure)...I take a renting car for moving around and out of Rome, you can find really good offers in internert...but be aware sometimes find traffic jam.

So if you are looking for a nice and clean place to use as base will choose it!!
Caty and her child Max were very helpul.

  • Awesome place to stay! It is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need. Lot of windows so you can always get a nice breeze going. Bed is memory foam and really really comfortable. Caty is a lovely lady and a great host! I would recommend this place to anyone.

  • Absolutely perfect place to stay. We loved Rome and this beautiful roof space made our week even more special! Caty and Pasquale provide you with everything you need and they are so helpful, generous, and nice! The place is designed very modern and beautiful and it's so comfortable. Shower, kitchen, bed, the balcony space...everything is perfect. Caty and Pasquale also provide you with really helpful tips about restaurants and supermarkets near the house and about the city. The house is in a nice suburb area but a little far from the city center if you don't have a car. You have to take the metro and bus, and although the public transportation is easy to use, some buses didn't run on time which took us longer to get around. However, we really really enjoyed our time there and hope to be back one day :) I would highly recommend it to anyone.

    Response from Caty:

Thank you so much Olga for your kind words of appreciation regarding the space. I will provide to post some other pictures ;-)

  • Pasquale and Caty have been fantastic hosts. His house is located in a residential area on the outskirts of Rome, something far but very well connected by bus and metro to the city center. The neighborhood has supermarkets and places to make good pasta. Provides the ability to walk the Via Appia, one of the most interesting archaeological tours of the city, located near the house.
The apartment is very bright and is tastefully decorated. The hosts offer airport shuttle service, very convenient.
Thanks for your welcome Pasquale and Caty!
    We wish you much luck.

  • The apartment was very nice and looked like the picture online.
Everything was clean, comfortable and modern. We were very close to the bus stop which connected to the Metro to take us into Rome. Communication with Caty was excellent and she was very helpful. I world definitely stay again and recommend to others.

  • The most beautiful apartment we ever had !!!! Modern interieur , all we need and ,if not in there , we just can asked for it. We're almost afraid to use the place , afraid to demmage something . Very nice roof terrace , using for daily breakfast and dinner , with a beautiful view on a aquaduct. Great neighboorhood ; manny cafe's for good coffee / breakfast , few restaurants ( a very good one just across the street / we're food / wine lovers and very critical!! ) Very easy acces to the city center by bus and metro ( 30 minutes to the center ) or the airport by car. 40 minutes for beautiful , free beaches (for a relaxing lunch or a swim ) We loved our stay at Caty & Pasquale's place so much. If we 'll visit Rome for the 5th time , we don't have to think where to stay. TOP !!!!
Thanks again for our great , relaxing stay in a BEAUTIFUL city .

  • Given the distance from city center, this BnB is fairly convenient using local bus service from stops located less than a half block's walk. A market is nearby to make full use of BnB kitchen.
Beautiful view from terrace. Clean and mostly quiet after ten or so at night. Stairs are slick, fell down once. No TV although Internet access is adequate. No elevator, a little tough if you are in and out often. Hosts madebikes available for trail ride along aquaducts, which we enjoyed very much.

  • We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. The hosts are welcoming and helpful, and the accommodation is astonishingly good value. We found the flat absolutely spotless and with tasteful modern fittings. Perfect for a couple looking to escape from the chaos of the city centre. It's quite far out if town, but easily accessible by bus, then metro. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes in total, but it's worth it to stay in such a charming place. Would thoroughly recommend it!

  • We had an absolutely fantastic time in Rome - and Pasquale and Caty's apartment played a big part in that! It is exactly what you need after a day full of experiences and long walks through Rome. It has all the facilities one needs, and we especially enjoyed the summer nights on the roof terrace. As a tip, I would definitely take a day on the Via Appia Antica (on the bike) - which is literally just around the corner.
Getting into town and back was also good to do - even though it is a little bit out of the center. All in all we would really recommend their place, and would love to come back one day, too.
