  • I loved staying at Rosemary excellent home. The room was lovely, fully air conditioned because the couple of days we stayed was extremely hot!

  • We have mixed reviews for our month at Rosemary's. The pictures posted on Airbnb are misleading. The house and furnishings were cluttered and uncomfortable with a constant musky smell.
We had no idea there were so many people staying in the house already-5 people plus the 2 of us. So parking and fridge space was always a pain. The parking pass provided was a year expired and the only available spots on the street were clearly marked for no parking during the day. We didn't get a ticket, but it was worrisome anyway.
Perhaps, one of the most frustrating parts was communication with Rosemary. We would email back and forth, but her messages were never clear.

Overall, Rosemary and the people in the house were kind and even let us stay a few days after our formal lease ended. But our stay was not comfortable and I wouldn't recommend it.

On a bright side, Takoma Park is a quaint and sweet area to explore and Zed's cafe in Silver Spring has the comfiest back porch.

  • Arrived In late evening time .. Keith one of the tenants was there to greet me should me were the keys were.. House was cozy quiet .. Room was like picture.. Another cool thing is capital bike share is a local bike share and its a10min walk from house ... And the cat loves to be scratched but she's always sleeping. But great place and will be back.. Thanks Rosemary..

History major, loves to travel world..loves to listen to people and their stories, etc. We have a 2 story, 4 bedroom house share, 3 room unit English basement, corner house, with grass, trees, etc. ..quiet, easy, comfortable...filled with antiques and art. Usually I have 2 rooms for rent..one down stairs on the first floor, and other, upstairs. Pleasant, easy neighborhood..people actually say 'hello' as they pass..or stop to chat.. Two-three buses to downtown to the Smithsonians, White House, offices, universities, etc..20++ minutes. we are located close to Silver Spring, Maryland, and yet you can get to northern Virginia by driving, or bus very easily. Whether you are coming to intern at a Govt office, take a medical course at Walter Reed, visit downtown museums, or job hunt..are location is good and easy fr transportation.
