My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is in a great location, very comfortable, and warm. Super close to the beach and centrally located for the wine trail.
Beautiful cottage with a great location/views in North Fork. Was very easy to travel to all the popular wineries and dining in the area. Maureen was very hospitable and my stay went smoothly. Couldn't have asked for anything more. I would definitely return and recommend to others!
This was my first experience with using airbnb and we had a great time! The Southold Cottage was splendid with a serene tranquil stay and comforts. Maureen, the host, was super friendly and responded to any inquiry we had about the area in prompt manner but left us to our own time and privacy. The morning sunrise on the deck and then the dock is perfect. There are towns about the area and eating out was no problem but the cottage has a kitchen and eating in and grilling was the best. Again, Maureen gave us a feeling of comfort and peace. A perfect getaway for a long weekend. Thank you Maureen!
My husband and I shared a wonderful week (our first as a married couple!) in this cottage. It was the perfect respite for a relaxing honeymoon. The views of the lake and beach were beautiful. The cottage is in a quiet spot on the North Fork, but is close to great restaurants, vineyards and other village attractions. Maureen was available via email to answer any questions or concerns. My only negative was the lack of refrigeration space in the cottage. We brought a lot of food with us, since we were staying for a whole week, and were not prepared to encounter a mini-fridge in the cottage. Luckily, there was a full-size fridge in the garage that we were able to access. All in all it was a great experience. We would definitely stay here again!
The cottage on the north fork was lovely and the views were beautiful. Maureen was really helpful whenever we needed her and we had a fab few days exploring the area. We would definitely recommend staying here, it was so peaceful.
Maureen and Allan were extremely warm and welcoming. They checked in various times to make sure everything was fine, and also made sure to give us privacy too. They are genuine, warm people. It was a delight to deal with them and to stay at their lovely property.
Maureen was an absolutely excellent host!!! This cottage was truly a special place for my girlfriend and I to spend our first vacation together. I encourage everyone to stay here, it's truly a wonderful place. Maureen was the best host. She has everything you need and is incredibly accommodating. Can't wait to return!

Professional couple who loves the North Fork and has lots of knowledge to share.
Have done a lot of traveling and love to return to our home away from home in the North Fork. It's a special microclimate with light and sun year round.
We have been hosting for some time now and have enjoyed each and every guest. One of our favorite things is our collection of signed rocks.
We live on the same block as the properties. We do try to meet each of our guests. We provide recommendations and yet don't interfere unless asked.
Escape from the city, visit the wineries or just inhale and exhale nature, flowers and sunshine.
