  • Rory is a nice lad, chatty and easy going. He will give you tips about the city, where to have good food, nice pubs, etc.
The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was warm (important detail imho!). The apartment is also located 10-15 minutes walking from the Temple Bar area, I never took a bus/tram during my stay, there's no need for that.
Overall my experience was positive. :-)

  • Rory is a great guy! He knows tons of valuable information and is super friendly and open! We really enjoyed staying with him! Great room clean and comfy!

  • Rory was very helpful. He gave us a map, offered us some local recommendations and he even baked a fresh breakfast for us and the other guests. The bed was nice and clean. From the location we could walk in 10minutes to shopping streets and the north city center.
The only disadvantage: The floor. especially the carpeted floor was not that clean.

  • Rory is a great host! He was 100% available if we needed anything, and seemed to adjust well to our preferences. So very genuine and full of great info!

The room was great- super comfy bed, clean, perfect. The location is great- just a quick tram ride from everything, and 100% walkable if you are feeling good. Very nice shared shower, about average clean. One potential issue to be aware of- there is a pump for the shared bathroom next door that makes a good bit of noise when it turns on and off, and there were folks talking and laughing outside of the window until pretty late (and you have to keep the window open in summer or it would be too hot). In any case, no problem for us at all, as we had a few drinks and fell right asleep. Would look for the room across the hall, without the pump and facing away from the social spaces behind the houses in the block if you need quiet .

  • Rory was friendly and helpful He allowed us to arrive late in the evening.
We enjoyed the huge bed but due to the fact that Rory just moved in this flat some imperfections remained. I have no doubt this glitches will be addressed shortly. It was nonetheless a positive experience.

  • Wow. What a great host. Rory dealt with my crazy travel changes and has been my de facto travel agent since arriving. I would have booked a whole week with him, but he advised me to explore the west of Ireland (costing himself several nights of me staying there). I'm halfway through my driving trip and it is absolutely magical out here. I can't thank Rory enough. He is a perfect host and an even better person. You can't go wrong staying with him.

  • Rory is amazing. He knows so much about Dublin and can advise about where to eat, drink, what to do and see in the area around Dublin. He helped me to book everything from tours to taxis to accommodations. He was always cheerfully answering emails, providing key advice, and even knows a bit about curing an Irish cold! And we had a good deal of fun getting to know each other. I feel I have a new and supportive friend in Dublin for sure. Thanks, Rory, for your sense of humor and wonderful hospitality.

  • Rory is an outstanding host. Right from the beginning of our stay he did everything he could to make us feel right at home. From offering us drinks and food to printing off our boarding passes and organising taxis all over Dublin! He even baked us scones! Rory is an entertaining host who you can trust to look after you at all times! Highly recommend!
