The Space

Our 12 room lodge is a unique place to stay if you are visiting the wine country and want to have a spiritual experience. Drive in to our retreat center and park at the office. There you will see a small ornate Temple dedicated to the ancient Egyptian Goddess Isis also known as Mother Nature. You may enter and offer a prayer while honoring the four directions. Then you can drive up a hill where you will find the Lodge. Park behind this edifice and enter this historic building built circa 1932. There is no kitchen in the Lodge, and none of the rooms have a private bath, TV, or air conditioning, however the building always stays cool. Each room is designed to reflect a different Egyptian Goddess and holds a description of the attributes she represents. All rooms have ceiling fans, exotic netting over the beds, and artifacts representing each particular Goddess within. You can enjoy the Safari Lounge with fireplace that overlooks the sparkling swimming pool just outside the lodge within a secluded garden. There is a hot spa and a sauna as well as a wood burning oven in this area. Upstairs in the lodge is one gigantic room (where there are 12 single beds for overflow guests) with a rug on one side where you might like to do some yoga, or watch TV. If you need to stay connected, the entire Lodge has free wireless internet. There is also a ping pong table and pool table for your enjoyment. The lodge has two dorm style bathrooms, one for women and one for men. The upstairs has more bathrooms plus a spa tub room.

Opposite the lodge is our Grand Temple, which also serves as a theater. We often show films in the evening here, and as all the chairs are not installed permanently it can be open space on a beautiful wood floor for dancing. We have great sound equipment and the acoustics in the theater are phenomenal. The Theater can be rented out for an additional $200 per day, and the services (email hidden) can be procured for an extra fee. A stage is also available with stage lights for theatrical groups. In addition you can rent our commercial kitchen to do your own cooking or our chef can make healthful gourmet meals for you who have a group of 10 or more.

Note that there are fine dining options within walking distance from The Isis Oasis Lodge e.g. 'Catelli's Italian Restaurant', 'Diavola Pizzeria.' Additionally, there is 'The Geyserville Mud' coffee and pastry shop, which is a popular spot, and 'The Hoffman House Restaurant' on the north end of town, which is a terrific spot for breakfast. We are close to many renowned wineries (Francis Ford Coppola, Trentadue, Trione, Geyser Peak, Clos Du Bois etc.), which offer wine tasting, and the Russian River is within a short walking distance for kayaking/canoeing. Lake Sonoma is about 6 miles away, and is a popular spot for boating and hiking. Additionally, River Rock Casino is a 5 mile drive away. If you are looking to host a group/event or just coming as a couple or individual, you will find Isis Oasis Lodge a refreshing change from the everyday hotel or motel. Please come and visit the unique...Isis Oasis Lodge. You don't have to travel far to be in a whole other world, time and place!

** The $1200 price is to rent out the Isis Oasis Lodge per night. When the entire Lodge is not booked, each room featured in the photos can be reserved for $100 per night. Also, I have more rental options on my property e.g. a secluded cottage for couples 'The Cabernet Cabin'. Again, check out my other listings! **

  • We had the most beautiful wedding possible at Isis Oasis! We cannot thank Loreon and all our new friends at the Oasis enough for all their help and kindness. We rented the whole facility for the weekend and they helped us not only with accommodations but catering the wedding dinner and cleaning up after all the meals and the pool and the dining area and on and on!.... They even helped layout the wedding and gave us a couple birds to release as part of our ceremony! Can't wait to return again and say hi to everyone...... many blessings... Kaypacha

  • We had a 2 night birthday party with about 30 people and the Isis Oasis was so great and accommodating!

The lodge was great, had enough beds for everyone and the upstairs area was a great communal space.

The grounds are AMAZING--there are amazing animals and tours that the staff we take you on. There's a great fire pit for hanging out after dinner. The pool and hot tub are both super nice.

Things to note are that there is no kitchen in the lodge but there is a great industrial kitchen in the pavilion nearby that is available for another $100. We brought pizza supplies and used the grill for dinners and Miguel was so helpful! One thing we wish we'd done was being a cooler for the lodge.

Another thing to note is that the pool is also communal and lots of other people on the grounds also have access to it.

Overall an amazing stay. Everyone we met was wonderful and helpful!

  • My group of 15 stayed at the Oasis Lodge for one evening this May. The grounds are truly something special. We had a spectacular time exploring independently and being guided on a tour by Miguel. We loved lounging by the pool, hot tub was nice and hot, rooms were just as pictured, and even went into the town market for snacks - just a 5 minute stroll away. Our trip's highlight was getting help from Miguel to build a fire in the clay oven with bench seating and making our own wood fired pizzas. THESE WERE THE BEST PIZZAS ANY OF US HAVE EVER MADE! It was low cost because everyone brought an ingredient and sharing toppings was fun. Miguel helped with prep boards and knives and continued to anticipate the group's needs and offered assistance throughout our stay. What a great guy! We were able to meet Lady Loreon briefly. She was very welcoming and kind.
The Oasis is a place unlike any other. A visit here is a must. It's very well equipped to handle groups of any size, so I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a unique venue for a memorable occasion.

  • From couples to large groups Isis Oasis is an incredible experience and not to be missed. Every room is tastefully decorated in Egyptian style and the entire place feels downright magical. Each guest found the bedrooms very comfortable and with plenty of room. The grounds at Isis are fantastically appointed, with a pool, hot tub, sauna, several fire pits, manny sitting areas and beautiful landscaping. There is even an extensive menagerie on the property with a bobcat, servals, peacocks, pheasants, emus, and a cockatoo named Sydney.

Loreon and Miguel provided everything needed to help my friends and I create a great New Year’s celebration. They hosted us in the lodge, let us use the theatre for dancing, and cater meals for us in the large dining hall. All in all, the hospitality extended to us was unparalleled by any Airbnb I have ever stayed at. If you are at all considering Isis Oasis, I urge you to book it, you will be delighted with your choice. We certainly will be back again soon.

Egyptian goddess-themed rooms in the lodge, great pool and hot tub, friendly staff, Isis temple, and the many exotic birds and cats made my night here an enjoyable and memorable experience.

I was a San Franciscan where I created a line of giftware and jewelry and came to the country to retire in 1978 on a 10 acre plot of land in beautiful Alexander Valley. I have spent this time creating art and beauty on my property which has a number of interesting buildings of historic significance including a 600 year old heritage tree. I dedicated the land to the ancient Egyptian Goddess Isis, otherwise known as Mother Earth. Instead of retiring, I used my time making my property a living art project. We are a non-profit organization housing exotic cats and birds of many species including a vivarium of interesting insects and small reptiles. There is also an art gallery for my artwork on my property as well as a gift bazaar offering ancient Egyptian alter pieces. I have a permaculture garden and labyrinth on my property to enjoy. We have a pool and spa, meditation temple and a redwood walled theater where concerts/plays/films are showcased. Please come and visit me at my unique peaceful sanctuary...I look forward to meeting you.
