✨ THE UNIT
Our custom designed space is great for couples, friends and small families to gather for an amazing stay in Costa Rica. Unfortunately, it is not well suited for infants and toddlers due to the stairs, sliding glass doors, and concrete construction. Come enjoy our special place to getaway and unplug at the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica.
🏖️ LOCATION
Location is everything. Nearby rentals up in the hills may have a nice view, but then you're stuck driving up and down dirt roads all day. We've done that before and it definitely wasn't fun. Our condo at the Villas Flamingo Community is an easy 2 minute walk to the the white sands of beautiful Flamingo beach. So easy!
❄️AIR CONDITION
Playa Flamingo is hot. Our condo is COOL. Each bedroom has a new AC unit as of July 2025. They are quiet and work flawlessly. Avoid getting stuck in a place with faulty air conditioners.
🍳 KITCHEN
The kitchen is stocked with premium amenities including Hexclad cookware, Global knives, Knork flatware, Nutribullet Blender, Yeti Mugs and Koozies, and GE Profile appliances. Buen provecho!
🛜 INTERNET
Internet is available throughout the condo via an eero Pro Mesh WiFi System with multiple access points. Our plan includes 300 mbps speeds with most of the condo running at 150-300 mbps.
📺 TV & STREAMING
Each of the TVs has an Amazon Fire Stick 4K Max and we provide access to a Netflix account. You're welcome to login to other streaming services with your own personal accounts.
🎵 MUSIC
Streaming music is available by connecting to our Sonos speaker in the living room. Alternatively, we provide a JBL Speaker for the beach that can also be used inside with a simple Bluetooth connection.
🙀 FLEXIBLE CHECK-IN
Enjoy a flexible check-in time. Unlike most other rentals, the comfort of our guests is paramount. We don't allow for reservations to depart and arrive on the same day, so we can thoroughly clean and provide a flexible check-in time. Share your ETA and we'll do our best to accomodate an early arrival.

Guests will have access to the entire unit and we provide everything that one would want for a tropical escape.
⛱️ BEACH GEAR
Included are foldable beach chairs, beach towels, a Neso sun shade, a Yeti cooler, Yeti can koozies, bluetooth speakers, board games, tree hammocks, and more. All you'll need to bring is sunscreen which can be easily purchased at the nearby local market. A communal pool with loungers is easily accessible to relax after a day at the beach.
Other things to note
💸 CLEANING FEE
Enjoy our rental with NO CLEANING FEE. Cleaners in Costa Rica make around 5 USD per hour. So why are places charging you $200+ and demand you wash your own linens? Crazy! All we ask is for you to bring your garbage to the outside trash bins and we'll take care of the rest.
✈️ GETTING TO PLAYA FLAMINGO
Playa Flamingo is about one hour driving from the Liberia International Airport. Shuttles and taxis are readily available at the airport but we encourage renting a car for ease of getting around the beach areas. Local taxis in Playa Flamingo can be difficult to call and a rental car will provide more freedom to explore the area.
🚘 RENTAL CARS
While the main highways are paved, dirt roads are a norm in Cost Rica. A 4x4 rental is recommended in the green season and extremely helpful navigating the occasional washed out areas. There are two different dirt roads that can bring you to Villas Flamingo and they can be bumpy during the green season.
