Where you’ll be

Davidstow, England, United Kingdom

Little Owl cottage is attached to our 1950's Swedish house in Treworra which is set in 2 idyllic acres and surrounded by 22 acres of pasture grazed by cows, sheep and wild horses. It is accessed by a gorgeous country lane which is just off the A395 in Davidstow, near to the A39 Atlantic Highway.

Just 15 minutes from the beautiful South West Coastal Path with its stunning walks, magnificent views, surfing, sea fishing, and outstanding beaches. The closest beach is Trebarwith Strand; a great surfing and family beach with a café, shops and pub. The popular coastal villages of Port Isaac (made famous by Doc Martin) and beaches; Polzeath, Padstow, Rock, Daymer Bay, Tintagel (with legends of King Arthur), and Boscastle are all only a short drive away. Further afield are the surfing beaches of Bude and Newquay. Also within easy driving distance are the sub-tropical gardens at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, several National Trust sites including Lanhydrock (also great for mountain biking) and the world famous Eden Project education centre and music venue.

There’s always plenty going on in North Cornwall, whether you’re looking for some action and adventure or something more stately and serene, you’ll be sure to find the perfect setting for a memorable day out.
