It’s also an ideal stay for out-of-town guests looking for a cozy, convenient retreat. Located just minutes from The Barn at Hornbaker Gardens, The Cider Mill at The Hundred Acre Orchard, and Chapel Hill Golf Course & Event Center.

Living Area: An open-concept kitchen and living room with a large sectional, ideal for gathering and unwinding.

Kitchen: Flooded with natural light, this updated space features stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar for four, and all the essentials to cook, serve, and entertain. Need something extra? Just ask—we’re happy to accommodate!

Bedrooms: The spacious primary bedroom features a queen bed, desk, walk-in closet, and is located on the main floor. A cozy second bedroom upstairs offers a full-size bed and its own walk-in closet.

The Loft: A relaxing upstairs loft with a queen-size pullout couch, perfect for extra guests.

Bathroom: A full bath with a tub/shower to suit all your needs is located on the main floor.

Outdoor Space: Enjoy summer evenings on our brand-new patio, complete with an outdoor dining set, umbrella, and fire pit (available late spring to early fall). For some fun and enjoyment with family or friends, play bags/cornhole.

Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire first and second floors, plus the yard. Free WiFi and parking are included. The basement is reserved for maintenance and is not accessible to guests.

Other things to note
Pleasant Place is professionally cleaned after every stay. For extended bookings, complimentary housekeeping is provided every two weeks to ensure a fresh and comfortable experience.

The pull out bed with linens is available to parties of 5-6 at booked rates. A $40 fee will be added for all others requiring the pull out bed.

Located in the historic rural community of Princeton, Illinois. We are located one block off of Princeton's Main Street on a quiet oversized corner lot. We are within walking distance of a pharmacy, Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, an antique shop, gas station, and a hardware store! Our other great businesses are just less than a three-minute drive away.

I’ve tent camped and stayed in some of finest. While I love to travel, I do have a day job and career so I must stay home sometimes.
