About This Listing
This 19th floor studio is located in a doorman building. It gets a lot of sunlight as it is West-facing; the balcony, therefore, gets beautiful sunsets - and I often BBQ out there. There is a separate eating alcove and closed off full kitchen, with a dishwasher. Cable and WiFi are included and there is a laundry room downstairs.
It is in the heart of the Upper West Side, three blocks from the 1, 2, 3/red lines at the 96th street station (south of it). It is also two avenue block away from the B, C lines.
The apartment is within immediate walking distance to a multitude of restaurants, cafes, shops and cinemas. It is four blocks from the crosstown bus, taking you to major tourist attractions, such as the Met, Guggenheim and 5th Avenue - all in 10-15 minutes. It is two avenue blocks from Central Park and three avenue blocks from Riverside Park.
Should there be a pair of travelers who don't care to share the bed, I can either make up the sofa (which I find very comfortable - I have a tendency to doze off on it...) or arrange an aerobed.
Please come and enjoy my home!
PS Also, please feel free to use my bike.
It is an absolute imperative that there is no smoking in my home.
And just please be respectful of my home.
I was looking for a place for New Year's Eve in the city so you can imagine the chaos with that, but one of the only people to even get back to me was Natasha. She was amazingly sweet and gracious and has a personality! She made sure that anything I needed was there including stocking the fridge :) she responds very quickly and answered any questions I had. I met her at the apt and the key hand off was a breeze. I loved the place. It's almost a studio and has everything anyone needs but the balcony makes it even better. The location was great too; a safe area with access to anything on the upper west side. Natasha is an A+ hostess with a winning apartment ESPECIALLY for the price. Thank you for being awesome :)
Natasha's apartment was perfect for my stay in my favorite New York City neighborhood--the Upper West Side. If you stay at Natasha's place you can soon feel like a real New Yorker.
The apartment is spacious, stylish, and clean, with a big balcony and a great view!
The reservation was canceled 14 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We stayed at Natasha's apartment for 5 nights. No surprises as her suite is as shown in the photos and was actually bigger than we anticipated. I love the upper Westfield so the location was perfect and just a few subway stops away from everywhere we wanted to go.
Natasha was a great host, very responsive and appreciated how clean and tidy her place was when we arrived.
Natasha went out of her way to accommodate us when we were arriving before the previous guest had departed. The apartment was as described. We loved the location and made full use the the surroundings as well as the nearby subway. Great choice for a single or couple.
About the Host, Natasha
A quick note regarding the cancellation I made below: it was due to an emergency knee surgery, so I couldn't leave my apartment. It was the first - and I plan on it being the last - time it happened. And I was in touch with the guests beforehand to explain the situation. They were incredibly kind and understanding. This also affected my response rate, but I am now back on the grid and it shall cease to be a problem.
As for me, I'm in my late-twenties, live in New York, recently graduated from Columbia University. I worked for a large NGO that assists refugees and displaced populations and now am a journalist. I am clean and respectful.
I enjoy puns, creating excel spread sheets and miming. And my top three favorite activities are travel, travel and travel.
