The district is lively and has plenty of facilities (supermarket, bar,

The flat is very well connected with the public transport system: the Metro stations “Manzoni” and “Piazza Vittorio” are less than 10 minutes walk.
Tram and buses are just around the corner. Termini Station (train
connections with Fiumicino Airport and cross-country train service, bus connections with Ciampino Airport, and Metro B stop), is about 15 minutes walk. You can easily reach the city center with bus or metro.
You will feel at home in a very well located, cosy flat in the heart of the real Rome. Full of light and colors, with a wide selection of books and CDs. We renewed and furnished this apartment for ourselves some years ago, just before having to move to Switzerland.
Other Things to Note
Kids who will not use their own travel cot or the available baby cot, will pay 15€/night

We kindly ask our guests of not using the shoes in the flat to prevent the wood floor
Serena was a wonderful host - she responded within hours, found quick solutions to problems, always there if something was needed.
The flat excelled even the description. Wonderful, individual, clean, spacious,
Our stay at Serena's place was great!
The apartment was well located (metro stops Manzoni and Tremini station are 10 minutes walk, the coliseum is within walking distance...) and decorated with taste.
We were greeted by Serena's parents, who were adorable. They left us a bottle of Prosecco for aperitivo , and they quickly told us about the neighbourhood and the city.
As a couple in our 50's, we enjoyed Serena's apartment for three nights during our first trip to Rome. It is very near Termini station, with several good restaurants just steps from the door, and a market within a five minute walk. Serena was a perfect host, always very responsive to questions. Her charming father met us at the apartment and showed us everything. He even carried my wife's bag up to the third floor, as there is no lift. He speaks only a little English, and we speak even less Italian, but it worked out fine. Our first night in Rome it was very hot, but after that simply opening the windows after sunset allowed the rooms to cool down nicely. The apartment has a nice kitchen, so we bought food at the market for breakfast, and could then get right to the attractions without stopping for a meal until dinner at one of the restaurants. We will definitely consider Serena's place when we come back, which we hope to do soon.
My family and I stayed at Serena's apartment for several days while in Rome. Communication with Serena was very easy and we met with her father at the agreed upon time to let us into the apartment. He was very extremely friendly and gave us an orientation to the apartment including the proper way to lock the front door. Overall, the apartment is very nice with hardwood floors and a mezzanine that overlooks the living room. The wifi connection was very reliable and fast which was very important to us. With five of us staying there, we had plenty of room. Thanks Serena!
