Share some laughs with your friends or family in the large living room or on either of the front and back porches. Located in a friendly walkable neighborhood you will have access to a number of restaurants and coffee shops.
This is a great 3 bedroom in the historical Hyde Park neighborhood of Austin. Hyde Park is a walkable neighborhood just a few blocks north of campus meaning its in the heart of the city. Each bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed focused on comfort and a good nights sleep. The house has two full bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need from coffee pots, pans, to sharp knives, to blenders. The living areas are incredibly open. The kitchen looks onto the dining room and the living room allowing for fun communication amongst the family and friends. The front has a cute porch with rocking chairs while the back has a large deck that is great for lounging, grilling, and listening to music. The house is nestled in a residential community allowing for easy street parking. Walking distance to the house is Texas's famous Central Market for all your grocery needs. Coffee shops and cute places to dine are also easily accessible.
I treat my guests just I would want to be treated while exploring a city. I answer questions in any way possible and give my suggestions when asked via any form of communication (phone, text, email).
Other essentials are certainly included linens, washer, dryer/flat screen, cable, internet/hair dryer, 60 inch TV are all included. The house is dog friendly with an area in the back that makes the dog's life easy.

Hyde Park is a marked as a Historical Neighborhood in Austin. The houses and trees make you feel like you have been swept away from one of Americas fastest growing cities and into the world of yesteryear. In one direction you are very close to Central Market (an amazing grocery store) and a Taco Deli (hands down best tacos), and in the other direction you have Hyde Park's cute "downtown" including Quacks Coffee and Bakery (my fav), Dolce Vita, and Asti (one of Austin's classic gems)
For all of Austin this is an amazing food breakdown!
Austin is not known as a public transit mecca, but the great thing about this house is the 1L and 1M train are literally 50 yards from your back door. Austin as well just launched an 801 rapid bus that stops near the house aswell!
These buses take you straight downtown, to campus, and to South Congress!
Have a great time! Respect the house. Respect the neighbors. Clean up. If there is an problem, just let me know and we will work it out.
Craig's house was perfect and cozy. We loved it! It was very clean and spacious. The house has everything you need. Pillows, blankets, an air mattress and towels. My favorite place to hangout was the front porch, it has 2 rocking chairs. It was very relaxing sitting out front. The house is in a great location, great restaurants and bars. Craig was available if we had any questions or request. My family and I would defiantly recommend his house to all our friends and family's.
Awesome place to stay! Craig is helpful, nice, and made everything convenient for our stay. Loved the place, and has everything you need. Down a quiet street off of 41st, I would recommend to stay here to anyone. Not too far from downtown, East 6th, or Rainey St. if you're looking for places to hangout.
Everything about our stay at the house was amazing! We were seven girls taking a long awaited trip to Austin for the first time and the house suited our needs perfectly - so cozy! The beds were super comfortable as was the couch! We loved our mornings spent drinking coffee on the front porch and evenings hanging outside on the back porch. The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Would suggest having a car if you're going to spend time in all parts of Austin. Craig was always available to answer any questions we had - we would stay in the house again in a heart beat!
Craig was an excellent host. Everything was ready to go on our arrival, Craig was flexible with a late checkout, and available via text throughout our stay.
The house is perfect for a small group- enjoyable outdoor space on the porch and a spacious backyard. The house was clean and included all the extras (hairdryer, iron, extra soap, etc.) Even the pull out bed was comfortable.
Would recommend and stay again.
This was the best first Airbnb exprence I could of asked for. Craig was the best host. He quickly responded to every question I had and was happy to answer them. The house was beautiful with all the amenities you could ask for. We had 6 guys and slept very comfortably, never felt crowded. The neighborhood was quiet and very nice. It was a cheap uber ride to everywhere in Austin we wanted to go.
Everything was flawless during our stay! The house was easy to find, within walking distance of Central Market, Walgreens, a great little coffee shop, and more. The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming. The house was incredibly clean, decorated with character, and fit the six of us comfortably with room to spare. One of the group members couldn't get over how comfortable the bed was, and actually checked the label on the sheets because she wanted to buy some for herself! Checking in an out was a breeze, and I greatly appreciated Craig letting us store our luggage at the house after check-out so we could run around town some more before our late flight. The whole group couldn't have been happier with the experience. Thanks Craig!
