A splendid 3 bedroom house in Central Austin with a focus on comfort and enjoyment. While out exploring Austin and all it has to offer, you know you will come back to amazing beds, porches, and couches to make your stay in Austin perfect.
This is a great 3 bedroom in the historical Hyde Park neighborhood of Austin. The house has been approved by the city and authorized to operate as a short term rental. Very Important in Austin!!!! All the beds are queens. The house has two bathrooms one with a jacuzzi. The house also features one large couch with another pull out couch in storage if needed. The kitchen has everything you might need including a few different styles of blenders. The front has a cute porch with rocking chairs while the back has a large deck that is great for lounging and music. Tons of parking, washer/dryer/flatscreen/cable/hbo/internet. The house is dog friendly. It also backs up to the easiest bus stop in Austin that takes you straight to downtown, the football stadium, to campus, F1 Shuttles, and to South Congress. You are a few blocks away from a some great local coffee shops and restaurants. As well you are about a mile away from the best tacos in town at Taco Deli.
I know you will treat my house, just like I would treat yours. Cheers!
F1 Travelers - Please see my easy access to F1 shuttle maps to help you take advantage of the free shuttles with your tickets. Last years the shuttles were a great success!
Football Travelers- I have gotten to games a number of ways cabs, bus, car, and car2go. We can talk about the best ways to get there!
The house is in full compliance with Short Term Rental Agreements now mandated by the City of Austin. I would not want your trip foiled by the city intervening because of non compliance! 035004

Hyde Park is a marked as a Historical Neighborhood in Austin. The houses and the trees make you feel like you have been swept away from one of Americas fastest growing cities and into the world of yesteryear. In one direction you are very close to Central Market (an amazing grocery store) and a Taco Deli (hands down best tacos), and in the other direction you have Hyde Park's cute "downtown" including Quacks Coffee and Bakery (my fav), Dolce Vita, and Asti (one of Austin's classic gems)
Austin is not known as a public transit mecca, but the great thing about this house is the 1L and 1M train are literally 50 yards from your back door. These buses take you straight downtown, to campus, and to South Congress!
We stayed four nights in Craig Carter's house four nights, my wife and I , my daughter and her husband and my other daughter and grand daughter . One night two additional members of the family stayed with us. The house was very comfortable, afforded both privacy and sociability. We cooked our dinners and breakfasts. One day we had 20 family and friends in the house to watch family dvd's . The occasion was my grandson's wedding and we came from all corners of the US and world. The location of the house is in a lovely quiet street. I highly recommend the place. Craig was always helpful with advice.
Very nice home and beautifully furnished. Very cozy. I wish there was some parking that wasn't on the street because one night, there were many cars on the street so it was a little hard to find a place to park. Craig was very nice, accommodating, and quick to respond to questions.
Cute neighborhood, clean and cozy house, and a very friendly host! Thank you Craig for being so accommodating near the holidays & for recommending restaurants, etc.! Highly recommend this spot, especially if you will have a car with you during your stay in Austin!
Craig is an incredibly warm, welcoming & responsive host. You will get all the support and assistance you need to make your stay really comfortable. The place is really attractive, open, spacious, bright, and very clean and comfy. Great location. You can walk to some very cool restaurants and shops.Overall, one of the best airbnb experiences we've had to-date.
Craig's home is fantastic and comfortable. It has a great location, too! As a host, Craig was really easy to deal with, he was accommodating and very communicative. If ever I had a question, I could text or call at any time.
Great house, great location and even better host. We have already recommended this house to friends and family and will definitely stay here again when we come back to Austin.
I visited Craig's house along with a group of 6 other guys for a reunion. We had a great time- the house is very well put together and features good furniture, a great porch, and a very nice entertainment system. It might be a little out of the way for those who want to spend a lot of time downtown, but we had an easy enough time getting around with cabs or the 1M bus. Craig was very accommodating and available. I recommend this house to anyone who wants a nice, comfortable place to stay while visiting Austin.
I spent 2 nights at this place along with 5 of my friends, and we all enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very spacious (easily accommodated the 6 of us), was very clean, and offered some great amenities (including a grill on the back deck). The location was perfect for our trip - conveniently close to UT and plenty of food options, yet still in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking was always available.
Craig was a very accommodating and friendly host. He was flexible about check-in/check-out timing, and welcomed questions before and during our stay.
All in all, our group was very happy with the experience, and we would definitely choose to stay at this location next time we visit Austin. Highly recommended.
I had a great experience with this place and the owner, Craig. He was very good about communication throughout the experience and provided some really solid recommendations for local places to eat and what to avoid.
We had a relatively large group of seven guys and the apartment actually accommodated us pretty well. Each of the beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable and the pull out couch in the living room is no joke (think memory foam rather than uncomfortable bar in the back...)! The house was very clean and well maintained.
The location of the place is within striking distance of downtown but removed enough to be quiet at night. Parking on the street was ample at all times.
If I'm back in town with friends I'd definitely consider staying here again.
