Beautiful 1909 Portland Craftsman home with art, gorgeous garden, hummingbirds and olive trees. Close to historic, hip Hawthorne and bus lines to downtown. This quiet room has SE light that overlooks a patio, flowers and Asian pear trees. There is a shared bath that has a marble floor and granite shower walls.
We are involved with arts, the dance community and give back by hosting annual benefit dinners. We have WIFI and ample street parking. The front porch swing has a view of the city.
One of the things unique about our home is the many outdoor "rooms" we have: a south facing deck, a stone patio under a large walnut tree and a front porch that is great to watch sunsets from-- light and views in many (website hidden) note, the bed is queen size with an extra firm mattress with memory foam on top.
There are several interesting coffee houses near by for breakfast or hanging out. We have a friendly black lab and many, many birds in the yard. We are both close to all that is going on and a lush, peaceful refuge.

My stay was great. Pam and Bud have a beautiful home and keep it spotless. I plan to stay with them again when next I visit Portland.
Pamela was a gracious hostess; accomodating and respectful. The home is gorgeous and it was wonderful just hanging out there, especially in the gardens. I came and went as my schedule dictated. Overall a very positive first time airbnb experience!
Pamela and Bud's place was a perfect home base for our last trip to Portland. The room IS a wonderful garden room. The hospitalility was generous and warm. The location was in striking distance of all the great places to hang out in Portland. If you can't go wrong checking with these guys before you make your final plans.
