5* House Reviews from other rental services
My friends, my son and I had traveled to Mill Valley for my Dad's memorial service. The house proved to be a nice and calming place to sit back and reflect on all the memories. The view was beautiful and the surroundings were quite peaceful. Although we were out and about most of the time, the time we did spend there was relaxing and comfortable. Cindy was a great travel guide and made us feel very welcome. I feel the cost was quite reasonable compared to the other costs up there during the summer. I am happy to say I would stay there again.
*****“Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings”
This house is in a lovely location in an elevated part of Mill Valley. The house itself is beautifully appointed, has lovely views and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is a large deck with beautiful views where we enjoyed our lunch and the odd glass of wine. There are good walks nearby and the beach is at a short drive away. The town of Mill Valley has nice restaurants, shops and cafes. This is also a short drive away. We had excellent food at Vasco's and the Balboa Cafe and attended a super concert by guitarist Pierre Bensusan in a most attractive local theatre. Tiburon and Sausalito are nearby as is the Golden Gate Bridge which are all worth a visit. A car is essential to access this house and at first, the drive up the hill and the parking can be a little hairy but one soon gets used to it. The owner lives in the basement apartment and was there to greet us when we arrived. The long list of house rules we were given at the beginning took a little bit away from the otherwise friendly welcome. We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. March 2015
Would I recommend this vacation rental to my best friend? Yes.
*****We and another couple enjoyed spending the new years period in this wonderful rental in Mill Valley. Every aspect of the property and service exceeded our expectations. Cindy was available and attentive at all times. We arrived to pristine accommodation, the place was sparkling clean. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The living area is cozy and welcoming, and we spent hours in front of the fireplace. We enjoyed cooking new years dinner in the spacious and well equipped kitchen, stocked with a wide variety of utensils and appliances. With a background in tourism, Cindy recommended fun activities and trails in the surrounding area and nature. We didn’t have to venture far to see local wildlife, we saw a mother and baby deer strolling by the driveway! The house is a short drive from Sonoma and we took a day trip there. We would recommend Cindy’s place to anyone looking for a convenient, luxurious and relaxing get away close to the city, but miles from stress. Jan 21, 2015
*****Cindi was a great host. The house was clean and had incredible views from the balcony. It's in a great area, very quiet and peaceful. Cindi welcomed us upon arrival and was very knowledgeable of things to do in the area. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need if you want to make a homemade meal. Thanks again for a lovely experience. February 2015
