We spent President's Weekend in Tahoe to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The cabin is comfortable and spacious especially for the number of people and pets we had with us. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood convenient to shopping and a short drive to Heavenly. The kitchen is well-equipped and large enough for several people working without feeling cramped. Large, open countertops provided more than enough space for cooking and cleaning. The large dining table seats up to eight and it was nice to comfortably gather together for our meals. All the beds and bathrooms are large and comfortable, and amply supplied with sheets and towels. Although it was an unseasonably warm weekend, the heater worked quickly to take off the early morning chill. Several people in our group enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a full day of skiing. For those of us who don't ski we enjoyed relaxing in the cabin reading, cooking, or watching a movie online (great, great Wi-Fi). The late morning sun really brightens up the common space. The open space behind the house was a great place to walk the dogs, and several times we took the dogs on hikes further up the hill. Chris is a gracious host who patiently answered all questions prior to our arrival. I would recommend staying at this cabin and would consider going again in the future, hopefully with more snow.
We had an awesome girls' weekend at Christopher's cabin. We loved the retro feel with modern elements! We were there during a rain storm but we didn't mind at all because this cabin had SO many entertainment amenities that we didn't want to leave! A great cabin that we'd love to visit again. The beds are really comfortable and everyone was obsessed with the master bathroom's shower head. We also really appreciated how prompt Christopher was in replying to my messages. I think every time I sent him a note I heard from him within 15 minutes. Amazing experience!
Great Cabin... Very spacious and comfy. It felt like home. The location was great and close to everything. I would definitely stay there again and the Cleaning fee is worth it just because the size of the house as well as let's you enjoy every day without having to worry about spending your last day cleaning and doing laundry. Overall Loved our stay!
We had a blast at Chris' cabin this past weekend! Was the perfect spot for our large group, with plenty of things to keep us constantly entertained. Hope to come back again soon.
Our group of 4 had an outstanding stay in Chris' cabin. Everything was clean when we arrived and everything was clearly labeled to the point that it would be impossible to have very many questions. Chris was extremely easy to work with, providing answers to any questions that I did have within 24 hours. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the game room kept us entertained for hours and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing. The snow in Tahoe wasn't the best, but our stay in this house, and the food at Cafe Fiore, made our trip worth every penny.
The house is lovely and has a wonderful charm. When we arrived the house was clean, the hot tub was warm, and all amenities were fully stocked. We really enjoyed the guitar, and spent our evenings cozied up between the multiple fire places and the hot tub, singing songs and and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The photos don't really do this place justice! The house is spacious and well laid out.
Christopher, our host, is an excellent communicator and answered all of my questions along the way in a prompt and kind manner. We hope to visit again next season and will be putting good thoughts into the universe for lots of tahoe snow!
thank you guys!
we had a lovely experience
What a place to enjoy Tahoe! Huge and unique space, great outdoor spaces, and a super responsive host. Who could ask for anything more? This place is so cozy and full of features - we will definitely be back!
Professional couple with a second home in Tahoe. We are huge skiers and love back country skiing and other outdoor adventures. We are up at the house all the time and love having people up. Stay here by yourself, in large groups or with us!
