Donna was such a wonderful host. Her and Robbie greeted us in the driveway to welcome us into the space by giving us a tour. The rental was so clean and beautiful. All of the amenities were well thought out-- there was nothing that we needed.
We enjoyed cooking on the grill and getting into the hot tub. The bathroom was extremely clean! The deco was charming and tasteful. The garden space was wonderful and eating on the deck was enjoyable- we felt like we were far away from town but it was close enough to scoot in if we needed anything.
Very beautiful place! Surrounded by nature yet very comfy, clean, spacious with everything you need and more! We already miss it!!!
Our hosts were not there, but a cousin was there to greet us. The description of the place was very accurate, and the accommodations were clean, and well furnished. The vegetation in the yard was outstanding.
Donna and Rob were warm and welcoming hosts and provided everything we could have needed - beach stuff, laundry, great kitchen, outdoor grill, spacious porch, wonderfully soft and high-quality linens, and an incredible view of the ocean. The space and location were even better than pictured in the profile -- spotless, tastefully and comfortably furnished, full of light, peaceful, and with a beautiful garden in the back. Plus, it was just a short drive from the harbor where most of our scuba dive trips left from.
The next time we go back to Kona, we'll definitely try to book this place again!
Stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon. It was a great trip, everything was as described and very comfortable. Donna was great at showing us around the place and getting us settled in.
Stayed 2 nights at the Kona Coffee Vacation Rental and had a fabulous time. The cottage was beautiful with top quality amenities. Donna gave us Kona Coffee grown on her coffee farm which we thoroughly enjoyed while having breakfast outside on the patio and in the gazebo out front.
Would stay there again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!
Our experience at the Evett's cottage was great. One of the best equipped rentals we have ever stayed at. They provided everything from chairs to coolers for the beach, and a kitchen that offers everything one may want or need to cook a relaxing meal at home. We appreciated the generous gifted of their freshly harvested coffee and locally made chocolates, and fell in love with their sweet dog Shay. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful location over looking Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii.
My husband, Robbie and I grew up and met in the beach cities of Southern California. We moved to Hawaii 28 years ago and have called it home ever since. We love living by the ocean, and the wonderful weather Hawaii has to offer. We have also extensively traveled thoughout the world and decided we wanted to share a piece of our paradise with other vacationers, either as a rental or an exchange.
