About this listing
I have a lovely, sunny, quiet and very spacious apartment (100 sq mt/1000 sq ft) in a great neighborhood of São Paulo. Everything in my apartment is kept very clean and organized. the style is a little bit minimalist, not too many things but enough to make it very comfortable.
The guest bedroom has a very comfortable single bed, large closet, desk with chair and lamp and all bedding is provided. There are two bathrooms and you can choose which one you prefer to use. the one in the pictures would be shared with me. The cabinet facing the door has one side empty for guests to use, lots of space.
There is no heating or air conditioning but a portable heater or fan are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped and you are welcome to use the kitchenware.
The location is excellent:
05 minute walk to Clinicas subway station (400m/0.2mi).
05 minute walk to Hospital das Clinicas and Medical School of USP.
01 subway stop or a 20 minute walk (1.6km/1mi) to Avenida Paulista.
10 minutes by bus or a 20 minute walk to Vila Madalena, the bohemian neighborhood with very lively nightlife, full of restaurants and pubs.
30 min by bus to USP (University of Sao Paulo)
Lots of options of public transportation to every part of the city due to the proximity to Hospital das Clinicas.
On saturdays there is a very traditional flea market at a very nice square just six blocks away from my place, and on sundays there is a street market with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables only 2 blocks away.
Local stores in the area provide all you need for your stay: supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants, "padarias" (a cafe/bakery/diner sort of thing), banks, post-office, everything. Right in front of the building there is a pizza place.
I have been living here for 20 years and I love this neighborhood.
Looking forward to hosting you!
* I love a clean and tidy place, so my biggest rule is to keep the shared space always in order, specially kitchen and bathroom. I would ask you to clean your dishes after using them.

* I request a copy of your passport
* no loud music or parties. guests upon request.
* one set of keys will be loaned to you at check in, to be returned when you check out
* smoking is allowed in your bedroom, by the window, preferably with the door closed.
Cris and Henrique are my new friends. There are a hundred things I can say about them. They made me feel at home, we went all over the city and visited a dozen gelaterias (although Cris' icecream is better), we shared our personal stories in the way only old friends do.
I will visit Sao Paulo again just to visit them and I hope to return their hospitality too.
The place itself is strategically located near the most interesting areas, it is perfectly equipped, of great style etc etc. But even if it was just a four walled empty room I would be willing to go back in order to be with Cris and Henrique.
I cannot recommend Cris' place enough. The flat was lovely and in a perfect location. Cris was brilliant: friendly, helpful and a pleasure to stay with. Thanks for your help with the swimming, for the chats and the birthday cake! :)
I had an excellent two-week stay with Cris. Since I have lived in this neighborhood before, I knew what to expect: great location, and very quiet. The room was perfect, and the apartment very nice and clean. And it was a very pleasant experience getting to know Cris a little bit ... unfortunately, we were both pretty busy during my stay. Definitely on top of my list of places where I would like to stay again in the future.
Ótima localização, no coração da cidade, perto de tudo mas ainda sim calmo e pacato! Recomendo a toda a comunidade do Airbnb.
I stayed three months with Cris in her apartment and I had a wonderful time.
Cris is a very welcoming and helpful host. She always helped me booking things, made phone calls for me and even signed me up in a gym. If you dont speak Portuguese you will be very thankful if someone like Cris helps you.
The apartment is nice and I liked my room. Also, the location is great! The apartment is located in a pretty safe area, 5 minutes to the the Metro and 2 minutes to the next supermarket.
I can highly recommend you to stay at this place :)
It was wonderful to stay at Cris´house, very calm and pieceful athmosphere and Chris was very good and interesting to be with! Thanks for all! Anika
Staying at Cris' apartment was AMAZING! First of all, the apartment is spotless and very quiet. I didn't hear any traffic noise which is incredible for such a busy city. Second, Cris is a really wonderful person with so much knowledge about the city. She helped me figure out how to take public transportation everywhere I needed to go. Also, her kitchen is very well-equipped and she let me use her washing machine. Finally, she is so interesting to talk to and an incredible cook! She shared a delicious meal with me and gave me information on different Brazilian foods I had never tried before. When I go back to Sao Paulo, I will definitely stay with her again. It will be like coming back to visit a very dear friend. I highly recommend that you stay here!
