It is a spacious 1-bedroom apartment in the heart of the bustling Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. Full dining room and separate living room as well as bedroom w/queen bed. Second floor walk-up in Brooklyn brownstone building on quiet side street off Smith Street, i.e. Brooklyn's "Restaurant Row." Includes Internet & Digital Cable. Street parking available.
Transportation across Brooklyn, into Manhattan, and to / from the airports is straightforward and easy. The apartment is two blocks from Bergen St. F/G trains, eight blocks from A/C, 2/3, 4/5, & N/R at Jay Street / Borough Hall. 5 minutes by subway from Manhattan. 15 minute walk to waterfront / water taxi. Incredible array of boutiques, artisan foods, restaurants and nightlife all inside 5 minute walk. If you like running, you are in for a treat as routes over the Brooklyn Bridge and also around Prospect Park are great ways to start a day or exercise at sunset.
Please review my guidebook for examples on restaurants, shopping, nightlife, attractions and outdoor adventure. Beyond Cobble Hill and no more than 5-10 minute walks in any direction, adjacent neighborhoods are Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Boerum Hill, and Red Hook / Columbia Waterfront. Each is also packed with treasures.
Guests are expected to be courteous and considerate of neighbors and of course of the apartment. When not traveling, this is the primary residence of the host. It also serves as a film studio for an education and learning Internet media company when not being rented. I think you will really enjoy the insight gathered from the company journey during your stay in the clean, welcoming accommodations and will leave fulfilled and smiling.
