The studio is extremely comfortable, well-stocked and wonderfully located, and Glenn couldn't be a nicer or more generous/thoughtful host. Would absolutely stay here again and strongly recommend to others.
Glenn exemplifies what a great host should be. Right when I arrived to check-in, he was waiting outside to greet me. Gave me a great tour, and showed me what was available for my use. There were some fresh bagels and other treats waiting for me. The bed is comfortable, and everything was just right for my stay. I wasn't able to spend too much time in the area do to work, but Glenn provided me with some great San Francisco tips. The area is really nice, and you are close to everything, the listing was just as quiet as I needed to be. Thanks for the great stay, I'll be sure to be back in the future.
Glenn's place is a spacious and clean, loved the sofa from Room and Board. The location is prime also, only a few blocks to Hayes Valley and 2 blocks to Divisidero. Glenn is an impeccable host and very prompt with communication. We will definitely stay here again!
Glenn is not just the owner of apartments he's a gatekeeper to San Francisco. Thanks to his small hints our visit to the city was very profound and meaningful. By the way apartment is in very good condition and we got much more than we expected from staying there.
Glenn was a fantastic host. He was very welcoming and provided snacks and other goodies in the room. The studio was very clean and was right next to the bus stops which made getting around very easy. The only issue we had was parking but we arrived a bit late the night before street sweeping. This was our first experience with airbnb and Glenn made it as pleasant as possible.
Glenn is the ultimate host! Great location, clean, will definitely stay again.
great place to stay, very comfortable and clean, great host, who even offered me some spare smoked salmon and real estate advice!
We truly enjoyed our time in San Fransisco and part of the enjoyment was residing at Glenn's Welcoming Studio. It had everything we needed. It is two blocks from Alamo Square and right on the bus #5 that took us right to Market Street. We love walking and we were able to do this as much as our hearts desired. Hayes Valley is within walking distance from the apartment an old part of San Fransisco that has been brought back to life with lovely retail shops and fantastic restaurants, coffee joints and adult drinking establishments. Glenn treated us very well and answered any questions we had. He greeted us as we came up the sidewalk to the apartment. He had wonderful treats waiting for us in the apartment . We were able to do laundry right on site. Glenn was the perfect host with the perfect location that met all of needs while in San Fransisco.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time in SF staying at the Welcoming studio in Alamo Square. Glenn greeted us when we arrived and gave us a brief verbal tour of the neighborhood and apartment. He was always available via email but gave us plenty of space and privacy during our stay to spread out and explore SF at our own pace. The studio is very clean and spacious, and had everything that we needed. We will definitely be back and will recommend to others.
Glenn's place was exactly what we were after. It was tidy, comfortable and really central to many great areas of interest to us in the city. The Muni 5 bus line (which leaves and arrives within metres of the front door) is a great way to get right in to the heart of San Francisco in just a couple of minutes.
Glenn was a gracious and helpful host always available with handy tips on were best to go and how best to get around. He's also quick at responding to queries.
We especially loved the sweet treats he left us. Glenn provided us with fresh muesli, bananas and bagels for our arrival which was a nice touch and very welcomed after a long haul flight.
Although there was no oven there was a hot-plate which was perfect for cooking a small quick meal.
We stayed for a week and would definitely recommend Glenn and his studio apartment.
