  • It was very nice staying with Chitra and Anna! This was my first Airbnb experience and it won't be my last thanks to the friendly atmosphere they provided. The home was very clean and comfortable. The apartment complex has a gym, bike room, and is walking distance to a ton of transportation and grocery options...very convenient. Thanks for making my move to Portland a wonderful and welcoming experience!

  • We were very last minute with our stay but Chitra was so hospitable! I was stressing about where we were going to sleep but she got back to us in the next half hour of us asking about the room and was very accomodating to make it work for us. We enjoyed the space very much, it fit our needs and was the perfect location. Would stay here again!

  • Staying with Chitra became a home away from home--only better. I had been undergoing a transitional period, moving out to Portland, and Chitra's exceptional hospitality, warm heartedness, and easygoing nature made me feel so comfortable. The apartment is inviting, well decorated, well-maintained, neat, and wonderfully cozy. The building is secure, requiring access key code, so staying at her place felt extremely safe.

We had so many pleasant, insightfully interesting conversations, it's like I was living with someone I had known all my life. Being of similar backgrounds and cultures allowed for that level of personal relatability. I was with her for a month and time breezed by, and I almost didn't want to leave when my time was up!

Other pluses are the balcony that provides gorgeous views far off into the Oregonian distance, and the view of Mt. Hood almost every day with clear skies was another treat for the eye. Plenty of nearby locations within walkable distance to Target, Fred Meyer, and other eateries. Oh! There's a great Vietnamese food joint right across the street, Pho Thien, that you must not miss out on. Best Pho ever.

All in all, I absolutely LOVED staying with Chitra and definitely plan to stay with her again :)

  • I had a great time with Chitra! I was looking to stay somewhere near someone I was visiting, and this worked out perfectly. Chitra was extremely helpful. We talked about Indian culture, her family, Indian food, and she shared what she does at work. I'd definitely stay again. Great experience!

  • Chitra's place was great! We arranged it at the last minute, and she was flexible and hospitable for our group of 3. The place was comfortable, had great amenities, and was just what we needed. The AC was great too for the hot summer nights. We will book again!
