This luxurious off-grid tiny house offers a truly special farm stay experience. The tiny home sits in Bidwell Canyon Farm's re-generative pasture along a babbling waterway. This private setting offers a unique retreat on a working farm surrounded by nature, dark skies, and true solitude. The farm is within walking distance to the historic town of Fort Bidwell, and makes a perfect home base for explorations in the nearby Warner Mountains and high deserts of this hidden corner of California.

The space
The tall ceilings and abundant natural lighting give the interior of the tiny home a massive feel. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and the clean design offers guests plenty of storage space to stow their bags, food, etc. The outdoor dining/seating area lets guests experience the scenic beauty of Surprise Valley. It is also a great place for morning yoga!

This fully off-grid tiny home uses a composting toilet and an alternating tread ship ladder design which guests have to climb to enter the sleeping loft.

The small town of Fort Bidwell (located at the north end of Surprise Valley) is within walking distance of the farm. It is a small tight-knit community of 180 people, it is steeped in history and provides guests a step back in time. Historic buildings line Main Street of what was once a bustling hub of commerce and activity in the late 1800s. The Fort Bidwell Hotel and Restaurant offers prepared meals and the only traffic jams out here happen when cows are being moved up or down the road to reach another pasture.
