HELLO AND WELCOME!
Stay in a colourful, full of art condo, with a designer/artist hostess (me) in the heart of Vancouver. Your private, single- bed room is very small but comfortable. Attention: it has no window.
I am glad to help if you need information or tips on how to get around or what to do in Vancouver. I have an extra bike and you are welcome to use it since bicycle paths are great here and you can see a lot just biking around.
I am glad to offer you tea or coffee in the morning, the rest you will have to find in the store downstairs. It is a great Chinese market just below, which offers a big variety of yummy foods including sushi and dumplings. Next to it is an Italian restaurant, Starbucks and other coffee shops just across the street. I have a large balcony where you may find fresh tomatoes, parsley and green peas if you come before I eat them all. You are welcome to cook for yourself in my kitchen and use my spices.
LOCATION: The location is great: just in front of Stadium Sky-train (tube or subway) station, which means you can get here straight from the airport in about 45 minutes and save $40 on one way trip. If you are coming by car, I have a parking space for visitors. If you stay longer than 7 days, there will be a parking fee of $70/month.
AMENITIES: You are welcome to use the indoor pool, sauna, hot-tub, gym, and ping-pong table in the building and there is a large garden outside. The apartment has wireless internet. You can do your laundry using my in-suite washer & dryer, but under my supervision.
WHERE TO GO: You will be living 3 minutes away from Gastown, the historic part of Vancouver, where restaurants and bars are open until late. You will be at the gate of wonderful Chinatown and a few minutes walking distance from the business district. You are a 30 minute bus ride away from the mountains or the ferry terminal.
LANGUAGES: If you prefer to communicate in other languages, I also speak French, Polish, Spanish, Romanian, Hungarian, some Russian and German.
I have traveled to Asia, Europe and Africa, but I am always interested in your travel stories. I love meeting people and getting to know them.
If you play guitar, I would love you to play it. I may sing, but I the chances are rather small!
I would prefer you to be a woman, but a kind and considerate man would also be welcome to stay.
No smoking at home, but on the 3rd floor in the garden
You are welcome to cook, but also to clean after yourself. Please do not use the dishwasher for now.
Before doing your laundry ask me how to use the dryer.(very important).
Izabela was generous with her time, space and local knowledge. She brewed coffee in the mornings, recommended restaurants nearby, lent me her spare bike and booked me a taxi when I left. The location of the flat close to Chinatown, Gastown and the main train station is also ideal. I had a lovely, albeit short, stay.
The neighborhood and apartment were as described. The hosts (Izabela,Lena) were very welcoming and warm. I felt very safe in the neighbourhood which is very close to the sky train and in the middle of shops and restaurants.
The hosts were very friendly, they gave me a detailed tour of the apartment. They even lend their bike to me. I would definitely stay at Izabela's place whenever I return to Vancouver.
Even though, Izabela wasn't in Vancouver during my visit, she made sure that I was well taken care of. Her house is lovely and she is a very organized and sympathetic host.
Izabela is really a nice person. I delayed my schedule and Izabela did her best to help me with all my schedule and information I need. When I stepped into Izabela's house, I fell in love wz the room. It seems so warm and outstanding artistic merit! Next time I come to Vancouver I Must stay at Izabela's condo!
Izabela was an awesome landlord. Her house is pretty, clean, and filled with personality. The location is perfect. I would definitely come back for my next visit.
I stayed at Izabela's place for a week in Vancouver. Her place is very conveniently located in downtown Vancouver. There are tons of restaurants and coffee shops near by walking distance to her place. Also a super market on the first floor in her building where you can by lots of fresh foods real cheap. Izabela is very kind and helpful host, she even took me on a bike ride to see beautiful Vancouver. Also using the indoor pool, sauna was a plus. My room was small, but it was decent and the bed was comfy. I recommend Izabela's place for anyone who is looking to explore Vancouver on a budget.
Izabela was an awesome host! She was very welcoming and always helpful. Had great suggestions of things to do in the city and provided a map to make getting around easier. Not to mention the spare bike she allowed me to use, which made exploring a lot easier. The room was nice and cozy. Also the location of the condo was really nice, lots of thing to do within walking distance. Definitely recommend staying with her!

I am an artist/interior designer. I traveled a lot and love meeting new people. I really like when people feel at home here in my crowded/whimsy place, play guitar and sing.
