About This Listing
Amazing 2 bedroom apartment with a sleeper sofa so you could easily sleep 6. The only thing better than the apartment is the location - you can't beat it!
This is an amazing two-bedroom apartment located in the Soho/Nolita area of Manhattan - basically the best part of the best city. The apartment is newly renovated; complete with internet, cable and an eat-in kitchen with all new modern appliances. The sleeping accommodations include 1 queen size bed, 1 full size bed and a sleeper sofa with a full size bed (clean linens and towels provided). The area can't be beat, centrally located to the worlds best shopping, nightlife, and dining. There and several subway and bus lines within a few blocks so getting around town is easy. If you have a car, there are multiple parking garages nearby (one one the block - you can also park on street if you find a spot) The apartment is on a one-floor walk-up located directly above a neighborhood bar. As with most apartments in NYC, you can expect some noise from the street and bar downstairs - however i encourage you to read the reviews of previous guests and you realize it's not bad (i have provided white noise machines in both bedrooms for those who are not used to the city noises). Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the apartment!
Noho (NOrth of HOuston) / Nolita (NOrth of Little ITAly) is a very trendy neighborhood with several delightful restaurants and lots of shopping. You can easily access anywhere in the city with nearby subways or a nice walk
located only 2 blocks from several subways (6,B,D,F,M) and many buses
There is absolutely no smoking permitted in the apartment! Breaking this rule will result in forfeit of deposit. also no parties. This is a small building with only 4 apartments and the owner of the building lives in the apartment above - there are plenty of places to party in nyc, just not inside this apartment!
Jon's place was a very cute and quaint apartment and he was very hospitable and flexible with check in/out!
It was very easy to communicate with Jon. He was prompt in replying to my queries . Getting the keys was very straight forward The apartment is very well located for exploring lower Manhattan with all its very hip restaurants, bars and shopping It is well equipped with all that one needs for a short stay. Kitchen had a good array of equipment but as the cupboards with quite high access was a city of a problem. The beds were very comfortable and linen was great.
The only negative was the noise. The apartment is on the corner of Houston, just above a bar and combined with single pane window and weather stripping in poor repair most nights the noise did impact our sleep. We were provided with a white noise machine in an attempt to mitigate the issue.
This was my first experience with Airbnb and I would recommend this apartment .
I stayed in Jons home with a couple of colleagues for the week while we were visiting customers. The house was centrally located with great restaurants, bars, shopping, etc nearby. His home was just steps away from popular subway stops as well. The check-in process was smooth and the home was cozy and as advertised. This would be a great home for business or a family vacation. Thanks again, Jon!
The apartment is great. A little smaller than on the pictures but really great for 6. The neighborhood is amazing with a great choice of restaurants and bars as well as a lot of great shops to burn your credit card :) the noise of the bar downstairs is not even a problem. Definitely recommend!
Jon was a great host and his place was great. Nice location, very convenience.
There were a lot of nice touches, fresh soap in the bathroom, coffee and filtered water in the fridge, fresh linens, etc. I thought the beds were dreamy and the sheet were softer and more comfortable than the ones I have at home!
I highly recommend Jon and his two bedroom NOHO/SOHO abode.
Was super easy getting into the apartment and meeting Jon even though we were earlier than expected.
Kitchen was fully equipped, plenty of towels in the bathroom (and a hairdryer which worked better than our high-voltage UK ones) and the bedrooms had literally the softest sheets I've ever experienced... I wanted to stay in bed all day!
Didn't stay in bed however, and found navigating the neighbourhood really easy; there's a convenience store and multiple subway stations short walks away.
The apartment is also near the Bowery Ballroom/Mercury Lounge etc so we managed to go to a show that was cheap yet amazing!
Would definitely recommend to a group staying for a shortish break (any longer and I may have gotten fed up with the lack of mirror in the bedroom!)
Apartment was well located for restaurants bars night life shopping and tourist sites. Elizabeth Street a lovely part of New York. Jon was easy to contact and we had seamless arrival and departure. Apartment perfect for our family of 4. I would highly recommend a stay here.
