Our party was made up of 6 adults, two toddlers and a dog and we all had a wonderful time here. The house is set in breathtaking scenery, is very well equipped, tastefully furnished and very cosy. The hosts had left some basic groceries in the fridge for us on arrival which was a lovely touch, and we were greeted by them when we arrived which meant arriving at an unknown house was much less bewildering. There was also a handy guidebook about all things related to the house and area. We wished the weather had been a bit better so we could have enjoyed the beautiful garden and decking more, but the conservatory was great for relaxing in too. Many thanks for a lovely break - we will recommend this place to friends and hope to revisit one day.
The reservation was canceled 19 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had a wonderful time in Deloraineshiel and Paul was a wonderful host. The house was great, and Paul was very helpful, he gave us all the indications for visiting the borders, find a fishing guide or shop.
The house was very clean and very well decorated and the environment is marvelous.
If we come back to Scotland, we will definitely go back to Paul's house.
Everything was perfect.
I highly recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful vacation. Our family of six (from grandparents to grandchildren) had more than enough room in their spacious house which was clean, handsomely decorated and updated with modern fixtures.
Our children had endless places to explore in the hills, fields and streams of the (website hidden) in their kitchen was a joy, as were games in the living room and books in the conservatory. Each of the towns we visited in the area was more charming than the next.
Paul and his family were excellent hosts. They gave us a warm and helpful check-in and were available and responsive throughout our visit. We can't wait to return.
