  • Pam was a really great host. She has a lovely home in a great location and she really made us feel at home. She was very helpful with information about Bondi and also about other parts of Sydney. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer with Pam in her lovely city.

  • I had a lovely stay at this Bondi apartment in an old tree-lined street. Pam was both helpful and discreet, and very friendly. The apartment was clean and beautiful, and perfectly positioned for a walk to heavenly Bondi Beach, and buses to everywhere in a minute's walk from the apartment.

  • Pam is delightful!! She is warm, friendly, caring, and giving. The eight days we spent in Bondi, celebrating the 100th birthday of our mom-in-law, were heightened by the comfort we felt with Pam and her abode. Somehow she was able to sense everything we needed. We enjoyed great friends, great breakfasts, and great conversations. We were lucky to experience this great lady, and hope to have the opportunity again. Hopefully we made a friend for life!

  • Pams apartment is about 20 mts or 35 minutes walk from Bondi Beach, depending upon your speed of walking. Its a 2 minutes walk from Bondi Road, that has various restaurants, super markets, shops etc.Buses to city, Circular Quay are frequent. Its about 40 minutes from the airport. Her apartment is spotlessly clean. She even provided me with fruits, tea, bread, etc, etc. She even was thoughtful enough to have an adapter, so that I could charge my mobile, in an Australian style wall socket..Whatmore can one ask for!! I would not hesitate to recommend Pams AirBnB stay.

  • Me and My boyfriend stayed 3 nights with Pam. There's not really much to say, except that She was a great host! Extremely helpful, nice and friendly! The best person we've stayed with!

  • We (me and a friend) stayed for 6 days over NYE at Pams nice and homely flat. She is a really heartly, friendly and helpful woman. She picked us up at the airport, showed us some beaches in sydney and even organized a friend of her to tell us about her experiences for our trip to cairns.
The location of the flat is pretty good. You can walk to bondi or bronte beach in about 15 min (or faster by bus) an will be in the city by train in about 20min.
It was a great stay and the next time in Sydney I will definitely choose Pam as host again.

About
I am a retired single woman and I love to share my home with travellers as a way of funding my own trips. I love the beach, travel and meeting new people. I have just spent three months living in Turkey which I loved, after two months touring around there last year. I also spent five weeks in Washington DC and New York in 2011. My motto is "Sing like no-one can hear you, dance like no-one is watching and love like you've never been hurt." I have two adult sons...one in Melbourne and the other in New York. I love driving my car but mostly I like my Piaggio X8 scooter which takes me on many long trips. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories, and sometimes I like a glass of red wine. I am an avid reader and when travelling, like to read novels written by authors from the country I am in. I read "The Last Train to Istanbul" by Ayse Kulin and Orhan Pamuk's "Memories of Istanbul" while I was in Turkey, and in the US: "Ächilles in Vietnam," a non-fiction. I am happy to recommend Australian novels for overseas visitors. I also am an art gallery nut and love all sorts of food. I have lived in the Bondi Beach area for many years and can be a great local guide if you need one. I ride a scooter and have a fairly recent degree in Indonesian and Journalism and spent half of 2007 working in Hanoi. I love my local beach and summer is my favourite season.
