Newly refurbished bathroom with floor heating.
New kitchen.

Wooden house, white interior, modern yet comfy, beautiful and clean.

Water and electricity is also included.

General amenities: use what you find of foods (most general things should be there: salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, tee) and toiletpaper, baking paper, food wrap etc.
But fill up/buy new if you run out, so that I won't be suprised to have fx no sugar next time. Thanks.

Interaction with Guests

Usually only by mail and phone. I live in Copenhagen, so I do not show up for coffee every afternoon :)

The Neighborhood

Area of summerhouses. Nice bathing, walking/cycling and driving in the area. Playground 100 m from house. with lots of kids in the summer.
The kid friendly beach is 1.3 km from house.

Getting around

Public transport is unfortunately poor. There are trains to Kolding and a not very frequent bus to Hejls.

Nice area for excursions by car or bike.

  • We got all the information we needed from Asser, he answers messages quickly and thorougly, and we had a great stay.
It`s a nice little house with enough room for a family of 6. Quiet neighbourhood with many other small summerhouses.
The house itself was a bit difficult to see when we first arrived as it is surrounded by vegetation.
I would recommend a stay here!

  • A very nice and child friendly house in a lovely and quiet area.
Quick respons from the owner who gave us lots of information and tips.
Nice garden with a picknick table, we enjoyed our dinners in the sun.
Beach and playground are nearby, legoland less then an hour away and kolding is a nice small city nearby. Here, the museam Nicolai for barn is a recommendation.
We'd love to come and visit again!

  • We should have stayed longer! We spent five days here and all agreed it was a gem. With our kids aged 10, 7 and 3, Assers' Summer House and lovely garden (trees to climb!), bikes, relaxed local area, playground and beach nearby, was all just perfect for us. It is as shown in the photos. We survived fine without a washing machine. The sink in the bathroom is a good size for emergency hand washing if needed. Asser always answered our questions in a timely way and was very accommodating and informative on all things local. An hour's drive from Ribe for the Viking Center, an hour from Legoland and a short drive from the really wonderful Trapholt museum in Kolding! Super!

  • Asser's summerhouse is cosy and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. His communiciation could perhaps have been better whilst we were there but overall we were happy with everything.

  • Really nice and cosy summerhouse, also in the winter. If you need to get away for a while, I recommened Asser's summerhouse.
