Stay in the heart of nature in our unique hand-crafted Shepherd’s Hut combining rural simplicity with all the comforts you need to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.

Situated in the heart of the Pennines, ‘The Spot’ is immersed in nature but within walking distance of rail/bus/canal access as well as the quirky town of Hebden Bridge.

The perfect base for exploring the beautiful rolling hills and valleys - on foot or on wheels - or just switch off and relax on site - alpacas optional!

The space
The Spot is a traditionally constructed Shepherd’s Hut with some modern twists including under-floor heating to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hut is divided into an open plan living area with alcoved double bed, fitted kitchen and wood burning stove. A separate bathroom contains hot/cold shower and sink as well as our environmentally friendly composting toilet.

The Spot is surrounded by it’s own dedicated garden area containing fire pit and grill as well as a separate seating and eating area. The Spot’s garden borders one of our own fields where you can enjoy the company of our flock of alpacas and sheep at a safe distance (and without them pinching your picnic!)

Access to the Spot is via steps and may not be accessible for all. Please do message me if you have any concerns to see whether ‘The Spot’ may be right for you.

Where you’ll be

West Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom

We live in a small hamlet consisting of 5 properties set back from the rest of civilisation but within easy (car or walking) access of the main road as well as canal and rail access.

We are situated in the heart of the Pennines so it is hilly!

We are just over a mile outside of the heart of historic Hebden Bridge and are situated half way between the Northern cities of Manchester and Leeds which can both be accessed via local rail services.
