  • Joe was great. We had the second floor which included a TV/library room, a roomy well-equipped kitchen with a table and chairs, a greeting room, a bathroom, and three bedrooms, although we only used one. There was a space to park off the street and a lot of privacy indoors and out. Our favorite use of the space was a BBQ at the grill and picnic table. The appointments were so artistic and interesting. We weren't used to the double sized bed or the unusual Vermont heat spell during our visit. We didn't spend much time in the house, but there was plenty to entertain us if we had.

  • The apartment was just the right size for our group of three people and I appreciated the complete kitchen and cozy kitchen table. Lots of light, charm, and convenient location. Bill was the perfect host; around but not intrusive and always made sure we had what we needed.

  • The apartment was nice; I especially liked the spacious kitchen with its table by the window. It was cold outside, but warm inside. The friendly hosts brought us lovely local eggs.

  • Bill's place is great and he was the perfect host. The location is perfect for scooting around the area too. Good food and drink just a short walk down the road! Would definitely revisit.

  • Wonderful, spacious, clean, a true haven. Bill made it very easy for me to come and go as I had a busy schedule an hour away. I would love to return, next time with no schedule and a writing pad.

  • If you're looking for the antidote to BnB cutesy, this venerable old house is the place. Bill has created a space that's funky and casual but at the same time aesthetically sophisticated and appealing. Don't miss the dogs and ponies on the kitchen wall and the picnic table in the back yard!

  • We loved Bill's place, I still have kitchen counter envy, it was very comfortable and homey also tastefully decorated Hardwick is a foodies paradise with organic deli/cafe 5 minutes from the house and a couple of nice restaurants. Perfect location for outdoor Winter sports, excellent Craftsbury Nordic/XC ski center 40 minutes away and perfectly groomed trails just up the road at Hardwick Heights Trails (no rentals) I would imagine great mountain biking in the fall. Bill was quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had, the perfect host. I would highly recommend Bill place.

  • The apartment was very big and nice. Close to the downtown area with good restaurants. Bill was immediately available with any issues we had.

Hi, My name is Joe and I'm lucky enough to be taking care of this amazing property in the North East Kingdom for the next 5 months! The owner Bill Coleman, one of my very best favorite people, is in L.A. for a while designing and building and enjoying the sun and surf and has left me to care for his beautiful Hardwick House. I live in Greenpoint Brooklyn, but originally from Burlington VT, so I know my way around the area and have a deep love for my home state. When I'm not spending the summers in the green mountains I work in the production and design industry, part time dancer, actor, choreographer, and I may moonlight as a bartender. My style of Airbnb hosting is to give you the keys to the castle, all the info you may need, and then let you relax and enjoy in peace. Maybe with the occasional cocktail hour on the front porch. I mix a mean Mojito!
