Welcome to Camp Banks Surfside, a stunning mid-century-style A-frame beach cabin located in the heart of Surfside Beach, TX. Just steps away from the sandy shores and within walking distance of three restaurants and the local liquor store, this modern beach retreat offers everything you need for a memorable vacation in paradise.
The space
As you enter the home through the second-floor deck, you'll be greeted by a spacious and sunlit open-concept living room and dining room. The fully equipped kitchen leads to a laundry room with a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience. Additionally, a full bathroom and a cozy bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bunk bed provide comfortable sleeping arrangements for guests.
The bright and inviting living and dining area features a marble dining table with seating for eight, along with kitchen counter seating for three. Sink into the plush sofas and enjoy access the to a record player and our collection of vintage records (we have a soft spot for Yacht rock!). The TV console is stocked with an Xbox 360 and games, as well as board games for entertainment.
Up the stairs, you'll find the primary bedroom with a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. Adjacent to the primary bedroom is a smaller bedroom with two twin beds and its own bathroom. The entire home underwent a complete cosmetic remodel in 2022, ensuring a fresh and modern aesthetic for your stay.
Throughout the cabin, you'll find three Roku TVs for your entertainment, although please note that cable TV is not available. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals, and there's an outdoor dining table that can accommodate six people. Take advantage of the spacious deck or hang out on the main level and utilize the charcoal grill (please bring charcoal) for cooking. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower (cold water only) and savor a delightful meal at either the picnic table on the ground floor or the dining table on the upper deck, complete with ocean views. We provide a beach cart, beach chairs, and sand toys for your enjoyment.
Our home is family-friendly, and we offer a compact folding booster seat, a folding infant/toddler bathtub (Stokke Flexi Bath Tub), and child dinnerware and cups for your convenience.
During your stay, you'll enjoy complimentary high-speed wireless internet, linens, bath towels (equal to the maximum occupancy of the house), cookware, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, blender, waffle maker, and toaster. The home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products, but guests are advised to bring or purchase additional supplies as needed. Each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan, and all bedrooms have their own bathrooms.
We take pride in providing a clean and refreshing environment, as the home features a newly installed whole-home water filtration system, as well as a drinking water filter at the kitchen sink.

GETTING AROUND: Surfside is a small beach town with relaxed vibes. Our home is in walking distance to several restaurants and the beach!
You will need a car to go into Lake Jackson (about a 15 min drive)
GROCERIES: The nearest grocery store is just down the street for basic needs.
I recommend a trip to the HEB in Lake Jackson (15 minutes) if you have more extensive grocery needs. You can also place a delivery order on the HEB website.
There is a liquor store just steps from our home at the corner of Driftwood and Blue Water Highway!
PETS: Occasionally we bring our dogs when we stay at the cabin, so if you are allergic to dogs please book with caution.
TRASH: Please dispose of trash in the bins under the home.
CLEANING FEE: The cleaning fee covers normal turnover cleaning (e.g. bedding and laundry turn over, surfaces, floors, etc.). Additional cleaning fees may be incurred for excessive mess.
PHOTO / VIDEO SHOOTS: Our home is not to be used for photo / video shoots without approval by owners in advance of the reservation and may be subject to additional fees.
WEATHER: We are not responsible for weather changes / delays leading up to and during your reservation. In the event of a storm, our cancellation policy stands.
INSECTS AND CRITTERS: We have regular pest control which keeps most insects at bay. While we try our best to keep them out, occasionally you may see an insect who made it thru the gauntlet.
