The space

Our riverfront studio is perched on the river's edge with a fabulous view of the river through floor to ceiling windows or from a cozy deck overlook. A walking bridge across an inland waterway leads to your private island with waterfalls on both sides. Exclusive use of riverfront portion of the property with a private keyed entrance to grounds to the studio.
A 10% Tulare County Occupancy Tax is included in the nightly fee.

Guest access

The property and the grounds that you will occupy are entered through a locked entry gate. We will email you the location of the key after payment. You can check in at any hour after 2PM.

Interaction with guests

We greet guests sometime after they arrive; there is a no need to check in on arrival ( after 2PM). We are available for recommendations for local travel and dining.

We are new to listing on AirBnB, but have been open for guests for 10 years.

Other things to note

There is a small private island right in front of the studio with a campfire ring (seasonal), outdoor chairs and lounge, and dining table. There is easy access to the river for swimming by rock steps from the island.

My partner and I would recommend Diana's place highly! We spent two cozy nights in the studio, two relaxing mornings by the river, and one rewarding day hiking in Sequoia National Park. Diana was extremely welcoming! The views from the studio are stunning; Diana has truly created a special woodland oasis. You can easily walk down to the island, where there is easy access to the river, chairs to lounge in, and even a fire pit. The studio is well-equipped with a nearly full kitchen (we cooked both nights), a fireplace, space heater, fans, air conditioner (basically everything you need to make it as comfortable as possible). There is no cell service, but there is a roku TV with netflix set up. Diana and Geoff have been renting this place out for a long time, and they have compiled a huge binder full of detailed tips and info. It is clear how much they love the area (and there is much to love!). I would HIGHLY recommend allowing yourself time to dig into the binder and take advantage of their tips. We certainly wish we had been able to stay a couple more days to explore Three Rivers and other parts of the park.

Wow, what a wonderful slice of paradise. We enjoyed celebrating our 20th anniversary at this peaceful secluded riverfront accommodation. The private light filled room is below the owners home with a separate entrance. We didn’t hear them & only saw them 3 times during our 4 days, once to welcome us, upon departure & to wish us Happy Anniversary. The gardens are large & private with 2 seating areas all to ourselves. 1 area is directly outside our glass door. Our favorite was down the stone steps, across a little foot bridge to our own mini "island" for post hiking cool off river dips - A very happy hour indeed! The chairs are so comfortable for napping :-). We hope to return to test out the hammock! Thank you, D&B

Crystal Cove is the BEST place to stay when visiting the Sequoia National Park! You can't get any closer and the place is spectacular! Its warm and inviting and you have your own little private island to take in the roaring river, mountain view and clean air. We loved finding all the new critter footprints each morning on the sandy patch in the river. The place is well taken care of and the full floor to ceiling windows give the appearance of being one with your surroundings.

The Location: The Studio is located about a 5-minute drive from the entrance to Sequoia National Park, so it's super convenient for travelers who want to spend the day hiking in the park, then quickly return home to a beautiful, relaxing retreat. The Setting: The Studio is located directly on a small river, and feels very secluded and serene. We spent hours sitting in the private backyard area enjoying the sound of the river, wading in the cold water, and just unwinding/unplugging. (Sidenote, unless you have AT&T, you will have no choice but to unplug as you will not get cell phone service.) The Space: The Studio was very comfortable and cozy. I can't remember the last time I slept as well as I did there. With the plush king-size bed, the fresh mountain air coming through, and the constant sound of the river, it was bliss. Diana also stocked the Studio with a number of thoughtful touches, like great books to read by the river and kitchen supplies to use as needed. All in all, a wonderful experience in every way.

The photos of the outdoor portion of this place do not do it justice. The waterfalls are extremely impressive and the river is beautiful. It is so beautiful to sit outside for morning coffee or evening drink. The rest of the place is great, and one of our only regrets of our trip was not spending enough time at the place (we visited Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite over three days). Highly recommend staying her for a peaceful vacation to get away from the daily grind.
