The room is wonderful and the bed is really comfy! Location of the house is close to metro and hence easily accesible. Suzanne was also a very good host! She was very accomodating and answer all our queries even if its late at night! Highly recommended(:
Suzanne was friendly and helpful. The room is as advertised and was what we needed for easy access to Manhattan. The eclectic neighborhood has many restaurants and services and felt very safe.
Thank you, Suzanne. We look forward to visiting again soon.
My experience staying at Suzanne's was very pleasant. Suzanne was accommodating without being too intrusive. She was nice enough to tell us about the neighboring spots to check out. The place itself was close to a lot of cafes and restaurants. The fact that it's a 5 min walk to the subway really helped. I would highly recommend staying at Suzanne's due to the convenience of the location
Einfache Unterkunft in guter Lage mit nettem Café und Restaurant in der nahen Umgebung. Suzanne ist eine unkomplizierte und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt!
Suzanne was a very warm and friendly host. Her place is located in a beautiful part of Brooklyn, just a couple blocks from the main subways. We fell in love with the Park Slope neighborhood. Her house has all the amenities if you want to cook.
I stayed with Suzanne 4 nights in Nov. and had a wonderful time there, in NYC also, though touched with a bad cough and incipient cold and asthma problem.
Primary benefits are the apt.: comfortable, adequate spacing for my few things, excellent bathroom facilities such as shower with quick hot water, heated pipe operating during chilly days and nights. Kitchen with coffee machine she makes available, including coffee, filter and sugar; simple breakfast possible (I brought things for myself to eat and quietly sat down and munched away). Last but by no means least, the bed is very comfortable, better than my own at home.
Further: vestibule into the building is always well-lit, outside front door/stoop the same, and in general, never a feeling of being unsafe. The front door proved very easy to negotiate for myself.
Also: super subway connections; easy to get to the subway, with 2 options available within minutes. The area of Park Slope is wonderful for walking and worthwhile to stroll around on sunny mornings. True neighborhood of Brooklynites.
Best: Suzanne is a really friendly person. She seems to combine an ability to be your hostess and fulfill your needs for a hospitable experience on your trip, inside her dwelling, and also to be friendly and communicative so you feel like you're with a friend, and this though she is busy with her work and a long commute. Upon arrival, I had to almost immediately go to Manhattan and she promptly spread out the map helped me with directions, and with an important early morning appointment the next day as well. Another time she brought up a map on her computer and showed me an area I was visiting, reviewing possible transportation connections.
A really thoughtful and kind person.
Need I say more?
Suzanne is a friendly person and made my stay very comfortable. The directions finding her place from the airport were very helpful and easy. Good not to get lost in NYC within the first hour!
The apartment is clean, the room is what is promised. The location in Brooklyn is beautiful and seems very safe.
Would recommend to stay there!
Hi, I am a quiet and friendly individual interested in sharing my space in this great neighborhood. My place is clean and cozy. I have musical instruments but can coordinate practice so as not to interfere with quiet time.
I am out most of the day and some evenings at work. I speak English and Spanish.
