Staying at Kathleen's place was perfect for our trip. The studio apartment was cozy and had everything we needed and more. Kathleen greeted us upon arrival and gave us tips about the apartment and city. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood close to South Congress making it very easy to walk and get downtown. The two bikes were key to our stay and we used them the entire week! Thank you so much Kathleen for our great stay!!

We have stayed at so many great Air B and B's and this one is definitely one of the best. Kathleen's place had everything you could need to enjoy Austin. The neighborhood is wonderful and it is so close to access the trail on the Colorado River. The bed was so comfortable we never wanted to get up. We never were able to use the bikes because of our schedule but are already making plans to come back.

We loved our stay. Everything was as advertised. The house is about a 5 minute bike ride to S. Congress where everything is happening and very close to the river. The bikes that came with the room were a big bonus We would definitely stay again when back in Austin

Kathleen was very welcoming and communicative from the night we arrived until the day we checked out. APT C is fully prepared for any situation. My girlfriend tore her pants while we were biking and Kathleen had a sewing kit handy. You won't regret staying here. I like how it's secluded but also close to South Congress. Thanks Kathleen definitely plan on coming back!

Kathleen was a great host. We had everything we needed. She was pleasant and accommodating. We also really appreciate that she let us do our laundry and we really enjoyed using the bikes. Her place was a bikable distance from all the major attractions.

Kathleen's place was perfect for our stay in Austin. We wanted a place that was quiet yet close enough to shops/restaurants. The bikes were an absolute great perk - we were able to ride them towards the river and to Barton Springs Pool with ease. The place is cozy and had more than what we needed in terms of amenities for our one night stay. Kathleen was very sweet and accommodating, allowing us to keep our bags a little bit later than the original check-out time before we headed downtown to our hotel. We would absolutely stay again if ever in the area!

Kathleen User ProfileKathleen is a superhost.

I have lived in Austin most of my life. My family moved here in 1958 when my father got a teaching job at UT. I spent my twenties in beautiful Boulder, CO then came back home. I feel fortunate to live in one of the coolest neighborhoods in one of the most interesting and livable cities. I am retired other than managing the two short-term rentals spaces in my triplex. I love meeting the guests. Hearing what people from Europe to Australia observe about Austin has broadened my perspective.
