This is an ideal location for going to the Convention Center, anything downtown, South by Southwest, Austin City Limits, and Fun Fun Fun Fest. Bus stops are 3 and 5 blocks away.

A great place to stay! Kathleen is a gracious, knowledgeable and accommodating host. The location is excellent for those wanting to stay near SoCo, the amenities are thoughtful and numerous, and the room is extremely clean and comfortable. Kathleen is readily available to answer questions. We highly recommend Travis Heights Studio.
Jim and I really enjoyed our stay at Kathleen's palce. It was clean and cozy and had all ammenities needed and then some! So wish we had more time but will definately return!
This is my second stay with Kathleen. Her studio is well located, full of amenities, nicely furnished, and impeccably clean. The kitchen is compact but very well appointed. The bathroom seems almost new. The bed is comfortable with nice linens and an assortment of pillows. Travis Heights is a quintessential Austin n'hood and the rental is very close to the the hip SoCo strip on Congress which is packed with things to see and do. Kathleen is a wonderful host, very responsive and ready to assist without being intrusive.
We loved staying here! The space itself is very efficiently laid-out. We felt like we had everything we needed. It was an easy walk over to South Congress. Kathleen was great about communicating with us. The bikes were awesome - highly recommend taking them down to Barton Springs! Everything was very comfortable and just perfect.
BEST little kitchen ever. I especially love the Keurig machine! Kathleen is so thoughtful and kind. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Austin.
Kathleen's home is located in such a lovely and convenient neighborhood. We especially enjoyed using her bikes to explore Austin especially the bike trails and the Travis Heights neighborhood. We found at least 3 swimming pools that are spring fed and really enjoyed Barton Springs. The unit had everything we needed including a Kurig coffee maker with many choices of coffees and teas along with half and half. We also appreciated the snacks left in the unit for us to enjoy and they were lifesavers on our 50 mile bicycle ride in the Texas Hill country. Kathleen was a wealth of knowledge and kindness and even offered to drive us to the airport. We would definately stay at her home again.
Kathleen's studio was the perfect place to stay in Austin for us - cozy, clean and centrally located. Kathleen is a gracious host and takes great care and detail in making the studio feel comfy and homey. We loved our stay here and would happily stay here again!
Kathleen is very sweet and helpful. Unfortunately we were both sick so we didn't get to meet up in person. The coffee machine was very convenient! The bed was quite comfortable as well. Great location.
Kathleen has thought of every detail of how to make a small studio apartment have every feature that you would want. Well appointed, well stocked kitchen & bathroom. Comfortable bed. Convenient central location w/ quick access to trendy Austin locales.
This was our second four-day stay with Kathleen and it was just as wonderful as the first stay. The more days we are there, the more thoughtful touches we find, e.g. umbrellas in the closet. Kathleen continues to be the ideal host, available at a moment's notice and very helpful if you need her, and granting you complete privacy otherwise. I won't reiterate all of the details of my original review beyond saying that whenever we travel to Austin in the future, Kathleen's place is where we want to stay.
