The kitchenette has a small sink, under the counter fridge, electric burner, microwave, toaster oven, and Keurig coffee maker. The kitchen is stocked with a variety of coffees (including organic) and teas, cream, sugar, honey, sweeteners, and filtered water. A few snacks and always chocolate. Dishes, pot and pan, utensils all provided.
COMFORTABLE - Enjoy the fabulous queen bed with a memory foam mattress, 5 types of pillows, and super comfortable (bamboo or eucalyptus) satin sheets. The shower has an adjustable rain shower head, but no tub. The bathroom is stocked with a hair dryer, all natural body wash, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, and other toiletries. Lots of adjustment options on the remote controlled AC/Heat unit.
"GREEN" FEATURES - I use all natural cleaning and laundry products and chemical-free pest control. There is an allergy filter in the AC. As much as possible, the apartment has natural or organic fibers and products that don't out-gas.
The calendar is always up to date. Feel free to use Instant Book. Diversity is what makes the world beautiful and interesting. I welcome all guests. The space is not suitable for more than two guests, but it can be rented with Apartment A, a 2 bedroom/1 bath unit in the same building.

PRIVATE - The apartment has its own entrance and one off-street parking place. It is separated from the other two apartments. The digital lock will be set with your code.
Interaction with guests
Apartment A is a 2 bedroom/1 bath Airbnb rental. I live in Apt B. I usually meet guests when they arrive and I'm available if you need anything.
Pets are no longer allowed at this property. City Ordinance that after 10:00 pm only the two registered guests can be on the property. Have fun and respect the neighborhood. Don't smoke in the apartment. Keep the bikes locked up all of the time. If you need a washer and dryer, you are welcome to use the ones in my apartment.
I have lived in Austin most of my life. My family moved here in 1958 when my father got a teaching job at UT. I spent my twenties in beautiful Boulder, CO then came back home. I feel fortunate to live in one of the coolest neighborhoods in one of the most interesting and livable cities. I am retired other than managing the two short-term rentals spaces in my triplex. I love meeting the guests. Hearing what people from Europe to Australia observe about Austin has broadened my perspective.
