Great place to stay while in Austin! Cute neighborhood, walking distance to South Congress and short Uber ride to downtown

Kathleen’s place was very cozy and very clean. She provides her guests with plenty of amenities such as coffee, bikes and even offers plenty of things you may need on a trip but forgot (toothbrush, toothpaste, blow dryer, etc.). It was very easy to check-in and check-out; she even nformed that we could check-in early. Kathleen’s place is also about a 15 minute walk to SoCo, walking through quaint neighborhoods. We were given our privacy but Kathleen was very quick to respond to messages. Perfect spot for a quick weekend away for two.

Cute little back studio apartment was just what we were looking for. Owner lives in the space above and there's another, larger, 2-bedroom apartment in the front of the building. Mini-kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathroom with all the essentials (in case you forget something). This stay got me hooked on Keurig, haha. Mattress was great, sheets were super soft. Not a ton of natural light but I needed my rest. The place heated/cooled well. We had a really great time! Austin is the best and the neighborhood her place is situated in is so super cute.

Kathleen's spot is great--it's in a quiet and cute neighborhood that's still a quick drive from downtown, and a walk to some nearer restaurants. The apartment was really clean, comfortable, and full of little items that make a stay away easier! The check-in and check-out process was really easy also. I'd definitely stay again!

It’s a perfect Airbnb. I’ve stayed in many, many Airbnbs over the years and this has to be the most thoughtful and well-planned place yet. Everything you forgot to pack for your trip to Austin is bound to be available at this Airbnb, not just the usual shampoo and body wash like other places. Having (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Fiber and a Chromecast already setup was amazing too. For relaxing in the evening this place was perfect. Just like being at home. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

This place is excellently located, thoughtfully furnished with everything you could possibly need and impeccably clean! I was thoroughly blown away, and the bed is to die for. 10/10, will be back!

I have lived in Austin most of my life. My family moved here in 1958 when my father got a teaching job at UT. I spent my twenties in beautiful Boulder, CO then came back home. I feel fortunate to live in one of the coolest neighborhoods in one of the most interesting and livable cities. I am retired other than managing the two short-term rentals spaces in my triplex. I love meeting the guests. Hearing what people from Europe to Australia observe about Austin has broadened my perspective.
