FREE BIKES - Two bikes are just for you, good condition Specialized Crossroads, upright seating hybrids with 7 gears. Helmets, locks, lights, bungee cords, water bottles, front basket all provided.
WELL EQUIPPED - This cozy space has everything you need for a weekend or longer. High speed reliable WiFi (5G). 39" flat screen smart TV with Internet and expanded cable (200 channels, including HBO). Guests get one On Demand movie free and as many more as you want at $5 each. Blu Ray player and Bluetooth speaker.
The kitchenette has a small sink, under the counter fridge, electric burner, microwave, toaster oven, and Keurig coffee maker. The kitchen is stocked with a variety of coffees (including organic) and teas, cream, sugar, honey, sweeteners, and filtered water. A few snacks and always chocolate. Dishes, pot and pan, utensils all provided.
COMFORTABLE - Enjoy the fabulous queen bed with a memory foam mattress, 5 types of pillows, and super comfortable (modal or eucalyptus) satin sheets. The shower has an adjustable rain shower head, but no tub. The bathroom is stocked with a hair dryer, all natural body wash, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, and other toiletries. Lots of adjustment options on the remote controlled AC/Heat unit.
"GREEN" FEATURES - I use all natural cleaning and laundry products and chemical-free pest control. There is an allergy filter in the AC. As much as possible, the apartment has natural or organic fibers and products that don't out-gas.
The calendar is always up to date. Feel free to use Instant Book. The space is not suitable for more than two guests, but it can be rented with Apartment A, a 2 bedroom/1 bath unit in the same building.
PETS - Dogs under 25 pounds allowed. If the dog parks excessively when you are out of the house, you will be asked to take the dog to a sitter.
This property is licensed by the City of Austin (OL(phone number hidden)) and 15% state and local hotel occupancy taxes are included in the price.
PRIVATE - The apartment has its own entrance and one off-street parking place. It is separated from the other two apartments. The digital lock will be set with your code.
Interaction with Guests
Apartment A is also an Airbnb rental. I live in Apt B. I usually meet guests when they arrive and I'm available if you need anything.
WALKABLE - This quiet historic neighborhood filled with old oak trees is a 10 minute walk (3/4 mi.) to the nationally recognized eclectic collection of South Congress shops and restaurants. The unusual mix of homes is from the early 1900s to innovative modern homes that were built last week.
LOCATION - Visit Zilker Park (2 mi.) with Austin's jewel - Barton Springs Pool. View the bats from Congress Avenue bridge at twilight before you head downtown for nightlife (less than 2 mi.). This is an ideal location for going to the Convention Center, anything downtown, South by Southwest, Austin City Limits, and Fun Fun Fun Fest. Bus stops are 3 and 5 blocks away. Taxis are readily available and Uber is great in Austin. Several hourly car rental services available, such as Car2Go if you are a member. Enterprise is close by.

Don't smoke in the apartment. Keep the bikes locked up all of the time. If you need a washer and dryer, you are welcome to use the ones in my apartment.
