This is a value priced apartment based on the apt. amenities/location/(website hidden) is clean, basic and private.
We work to keep our prices 40% to 60% lower than average New Orleans hotels/other rentals even during peak event seasons like Mardi Gras. In an effort to keep the pirce very reasonable we stock very little in the way of kitchenware as the cost of constantly replacing these items drives the price up.
While we can provide a few items with advance notice, if you need a fully stocked kitchen you may want to consider this.

Garden level cozy apt. in large classic New Orleans home.
Separate entrance with sweet patio.

Small kitchen w/ sink, stove, fridge, microwave

*** If you need a separate bed for a second person, please let us know. We can provide a nice airmattress. It will go in the living room, thereby reducing your living space
1 bath with shower
Access to washer and dryer

Easy street parking, public transpo very close.

This is a perfect spot to enjoy New Orleans!

We appreciate peaceful, harmonius, guests.
This is a quiet home with great hosts and neighbors!
No smoking, no pets.
Available by the night (2-3 night minimum), by the week or by the month. Special event rates may be different.

*** PETS - a recent guest review mentions being very sensitive to the scent of dogs. We do have 4 dogs who have never been allowed in this apt. and live in their own lovely house/yard, which is about 500ft. away from the apt. As no one has ever mentioned this before, we're a little mystified, so If you are REALLY REALLY sensitive to pets, you might like to consider this info.

We've noticed on the star ratings "accuracy" has a lower rating than we would like. We have upgraded the apt. in many ways since these pictures were taken - so it actually IS BETTER, but obviously somewhat different than the pictures. We are scheduled with an airbnb photographer so hopefully our accuracy rating will improve!

  • Nola was kind enough to make her apartment available to me right after Mardi Gras. Previous guests had trashed the apartment, but Nola went out of her way to make sure it was completely clean so I could enjoy my stay. She is a very friendly, big hearted person and I really enjoyed our conversations. As for the apartment, it had everything I needed - central location, comfortable bed, stocked kitchen, and of course some New Orleans charm thrown in for good measure. Don't hesitate to stay with Nola, you're guaranteed to have a memorable experience.

  • I was hoping that this apartment would make for a good place to stay while in New Orleans for work, and it turned out perfectly.

At a very reasonable price, I was close enough to downtown to drop in on the nightlife without having revelry or other noises intrude. The apartment was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was just what I was looking for.

  • Nola was a wonderful host. She's a Nola native and had endless amounts of incredible suggestions for music, food, drinks, parks, museums and anything else you'd want to do in Nola. a fantastic Restaraunt, Upperline, you must go to while in new orleans regardless if you stay with her or not. Place was (email hidden)ean, quiet and close to Frenchman st and the quarter. highly recommend it to anyone of any age.

  • I had a wonderful time staying at Nola's place! I travel for work and had a packed schedule all week, however it was so nice to come "home" to this every night. The bed was perfect, and the apartment was very charming. I felt so comfortable, that on multiple occasions I tried to unlock the door with my own house key. Thanks again Nola, I'll be seeing you again in the near future!

  • Nice clean place with decent location to city. Cab rides are about $8 one way to get to French quarter.

  • We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Nola is friendly, helpful, and informative. She told us about the city's geography and history, and gave us excellent recommendations for off-the-beaten-path experiences. The apartment is very nice, perfect for our needs (we're a relatively quiet young couple). She takes very good care of the property, which is in a perfect spot for getting a sense of the real New Orleans. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and gives you a sense of how people actually live day to day. It's also close enough that, even by foot, you can get into downtown, City Park or the Quarter pretty quickly. We rented bikes, which was a perfect way to get around from this location. We highly recommend Nola for your next trip to NOLA!

  • New Orleans is a really interesting city. The apartment is really ideally placed for visiting the city. The home is great and Nola's advices of first level. I Will come back as soon I will have an other opportunity.

  • The place is cute and it's a great deal. The hot water in the shower was impossible to figure out and I was always in too much of a hurry to call for help with it so that wasn't ideal. And, for a girl staying there alone, the neighborhood was a little tough for me. But, she was very accommodating, and again, the place is a great deal.
