This is a quiet village on the shores of the wild southern ocean called Bass Strait. Perfect for long walks and long lunches at the local wineries or restaurants.
RELAX when you arrive to our light, airy, sunny beach house. Filled with local artists paintings to create a stunning appeal.
The two bedrooms can accomodate two couples or a small family. Sofa bed, porta cot and high chair available for a small extra charge, on request.
Bathroom is light and clutter free and has a washing machine if your stay is longer and clothes need freshening up!
Lots of room for relaxation in the comfortable lounge room with TV and DVD with in house movies. Spill onto the verandah from the kitchen/dining area to enjoy the sky as the sun sets or walk to the beach for a really spectacular view of the day closing.
Full sized BBQ on the deck and outdoor setting for your Summer eating.
Keep cool in the Summer with the split system air-conditioner and warm in the Winter with lots of heating plus electric blankets on the beds to keep you toasty warm.
Bus stop directly out side the house to take you to local township, Rye and beyond.
Security key box on verandah with your own access code. This means you can check in anytime after 2pm if we aren't able to be there to greet you.

We live close by and are there if you need us.
Hotsprings a short 5 minute drive away. We are also a short walk to the great southern ocean. This is a magnificent beach for long walks and sunset and wave viewing. It is not a swimming beach - just pop in the car and drive to Rye to the bay beaches for this, or swim at a patrolled surf beach 5 minutes away at Gunnamatta. HotSprings a short 5 minute drive away.
You'll need a car to stay here to access all the Peninsula has to offer. 5 minutes drive to Rye town and shops, Peninsula Hotsprings, Gunamatta Surf Beach. 15 minutes drive to Sorrento. 15 minutes drive to Red Hill.
Other Things to Note
Brendan is a bee keeper and we have hives in the rear garden under the apricot trees. Veggie garden has fresh herbs and greens most of the year, for you to pick and enjoy.
We absolutely love the Mornington Peninsula and happy to share this with you. We love walking on our beach and in the bush close by. We can direct you to good restaurants with live music. Wineries are amazing and we can show you the best! We have travelled a lot and look forward to welcoming you to our part of the world.
