The Space

Relax & explore San Francisco like the locals.

I love San Francisco and I love sharing it with others.

My home is conveniently located on the ground floor, on the north side of Bernal Hill where it is flat & quiet.

Situated two blocks away from Precita Park, home to Precita Eyes and 1 & 1/2 blocks from vibrant Mission Street with major bus lines running down town and lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes, there is no need for a car.

However, off street parking for one car is included.

It is three easy walking blocks to Safeway, Cole Hardware, Big Lots, The Blue Plate, Emmy's Spaghetti Shack, the Front Porch, Taqueria Cancun, and 4 easy walking blocks to Mitchell's Ice Cream, La Taqueria (the best taco place in SF), Mission Pie and BART (San Francisco’s Subway) plus everything else you will need in between.

The unit itself is in a house (consisting of 3 units total) built in the early 1900's with one bedroom, living room, office, eat in kitchen, split bath with bathtub and shower, all kitchen appliances, pots, pans, silverware, etc, towels, sheets, blankets, a full size washer and dryer, central heating, hardwood floors, two TV's, one flat screen, cable with HBO, WiFi, small front, back, and side yards, plus coffee & tea.

My home comfortably accommodates 2 people sleeping in the same full size bed. An air mattress is provided upon request for extra people or people who want to sleep separately.

Smoking cigarettes is allowed outside only.

I heart SF & I hope you will too!

  • The apartment was gorgeous! Lynnore definitely cares for this place. The location was perfect for me, as I used to live in the Mission and wanted something close but quiet. Lynnore also kept in touch and tipped me off to the slides near the place, which my friend and I enjoyed on my last night in San Francisco. I'm already thinking about when to come back!

  • Great location, great apartment. We really enjoyed our time at Lynnore's place. Including all the helpful hints for the neighborhood. Bonus was having a dedicated parking space since we had just driven up from Big Sur!

  • Lynnore was super accommodating. She helped arrange my last-minute booking and worked with me on my tight check-in constraints. The apartment was located in a great little neighbourhood with just ~10 minutes' walk to BART and tons of great restaurants just a street away. Inside was very welcoming and well-equipped. Really no complaints, great experience overall. Thanks Lynnore!

  • Lynnore was a most accommodating host, though we never actually met her! All email and telephone communications were timely and helpful. Lynnore's friend Jane let us in and introduced us to the house and the neighborhood. The condo was prefect for our needs. It was light and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, as was all the furniture. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely, and a perfect location for us.
I have cat allergies, and although the condo was very clean, there was enough dander to make my eyes itch. Not a big deal, however. We would stay there again.

  • Lynnore was an amazing host! She is extremely nice and is never more than an email or phone call away. This was my first experience with AirBNB and she made it fun and very easy!
I was looking for a place to stay on vacation in San Francisco that was in the city and close to restaraunts. Lynnore's place was perfect! Quiet in the evenings and close to the Mission District so everything was withinh short walking distance. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated, and the gardnes were amazing!
When we are arrived, we were greeting by a friend of Lynorre and she have us the run down if the house. She showed us that Lynorre had left a few books for us to skim through about the city and a nice map if the neighborhood that had specific locations pointed out. After getting the key, Lynorre called and we spoke for some time as well.
I would highly suggest staying at this listing and working with Lynorre. The hous is amazing and the host is wonderfull!

  • Lynnore was a lovely host, incredibly helpful and friendly and always available when I had questions. The apartment is in a safe and quiet neighbourhood - and just a short walk from the Mission, coffee shops and shopping. Can only recommend it!

  • Lynnore was a lovely host — she checked in on us a few times to make sure our stay was comfortable and left a great booklet of suggestions for our visit to San Francisco. Her place was cute and cozy with all the comforts of home.

  • The apartment is really lovely and comfortable. Very cutely put together with excellent light and air throughout. I loved the backyard seating area. The area is also pretty nice, as you're close to both the Mission, for all your vintage stylin' and hip foodie-ing needs, and on the edge of a more laid back neighborhood. I found it easy to get around San Fran using public transportation from here.

  • Beautiful flat with extremely nice back garden (spoiler alert: you may see hummingbirds flying around :-)

Excellent internet bandwidth which, together with the little office space, makes Lynnore's place ideal if you need to work from home occasionally as in my case.

Parking spot available which makes your life easy in the little, quite street.

Outside the more popular Mission, but just a stroll away from lots of restaurants and pubs. I think this makes it ideal to enjoy the quieter neighborhood while keeping in touch with the city life.

Really appreciated the flexible check-in & check-out times!

The only downside are the thin ceilings (you can hear people walking upstairs) but this is a common thing in San Francisco so I can't really blame this place. Good to know though for people that may be very sensitive to noise. It did not bother me particularly though.

  • Lynnore's place is delightful! Charming and spacious (larger, even, than the photos suggest), and in a fantastic area. She was quick to help with any questions we had, and we would definitely recommend her place to anyone wanting a good taste of SF.

About
In April, 2012, I went on a big trip that included three weeks of traveling to Iceland, London, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid & then 18 days covering most of Morocco. I booked stays through Airbnb in Barcelona, Madrid & Paris, which turned out to be the highlights of my trip. Now, I am inspired to welcome travelers into my home nestled in the beautiful city of San Francisco!
