A beautiful space with everything needed for a relaxing quiet stay.
The Zen Hale is the perfect home base for your exploration of the Big Island. The unique serenity of this one bedroom, one bath cottage offers ocean and mountain views enhanced by cool breezes and mild temperatures. Luxuious linens adorn the separate bedroom and a beautiful stone shower appoint the bathroom. A separate laundry room with washer and dryer is available for use.
You will find yourself minutes away from the best beaches on the Big Island. The largest of Hawaii Island’s white sand beaches, Hapuna Beach, has consistently been rated on numerous international Top Ten lists. Mauna Kea Beach, a perfect crescent of golden sand leading to calm water, has been voted among the Top 10 beaches in the U.S. Both offer great conditions for swimming, sunbathing, bodyboarding and snorkeling.
Beyond the beaches, Hawaii offers a host of outdoor activities and sightseeing oppportunities. Head to the Paniolo Town of Waimea and visit the many shops and galleries. From there is the perfect starting point for a trip to the Volcano National Park or a glimpse of the stars and planets at Mauna Kea Observatory.
There's no better way to experience the amazing cultural diversity of Hawaii Island than to visit one of the farmers’ markets that take place all arround the island. You’ll find fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables used in Hawaii Regional Cuisine, exotic varieties that are as intriguing as they are tasty plus an eclectic collection of prepared foods.The market is also a great place to pick up handmade artwork or a unique gift and strike up a conversation with the artist who made them.
When you're ready for some relaxation and "Aloha", come home to the Zen Hale.

You'll have the privacy and of this adorable cottage, an area outdoors that is equipped with a gas BBQ grill and seating. You can also use the laundry room that is on premise and complimentary.
Interaction with Guests
We like to provide our guests with privacy but we are available when needed.
A rental car is recommended while visiting Hawaii Island. Very little public transportation is available.

No Smoking on property inside or out
Pets are not allowed
The Owners/ Property management are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners/ Property management are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Keep the property an d all furnishings in good order. Only use appliances’ for their intended uses.
People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
PARKING: There is a designated parking spot. Vehicles are to park in designated parking areas only. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing: applicable fines/ towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
HOUSEKEEPING: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. WE do not permit linens or bath towels to be taken from the units. Beach towels are supplied and may be used off property.
LAUNDRY ROOM: There is a laundry room provided for our guests hours of operation are from 8:00 – 4:00 p.m. daily.

NO REFUNDS GIVEN FOR STORMS OR HURRICANES
LIGHTS, FANS, TELIVISION AND APPLIANCES TURNED OFF WHEN NOT BEING USED AND WHEN NOT OCCUPING THE UNIT.
TENANT RESPONISBLE FOR ALL LEGAL FEES.
CHECKOUT POLICY: GUEST NEEDS TO LEAVE KEY ON THE TABLE INSIDE THE UNIT AND MAKE SURE ALL LIGHTS AND FANS ARE OFF WHEN LEAVING.
